I think I'm gonna buy a new 2016 Maxima. Just got my '08 Altima paid off a few months ago, time for an upgrade.

How baller would it be to just go in and pay cash for that shiz? Nissan has some sick 0.9% financing deals though, better to finance it and invest the cash. I can get > 1% return.
The new Maxima's definitely look sweet. This is just a suggestion, but before you buy anything, go test drive a BMW. Riding in one doesn't count, you have to be behind the wheel to comprehend what it feels like to own the road like that. Then get on Craig's list and find one with 60K miles for 11-12K and pay cash. You'll never drive anything else for the rest of your life. It's a little known secret that these cars are very affordable if you buy used and in a private sale. There is nothing like a BMW. They are underrated, if anything. Besides, if you're an EV whore, why would you ever buy a new car?

Yes, rented a Mercedes and drove my brother's Audi. They are sweet. But IMO, the Ultimate Driving Machine is still far superior. Sure, there are cars with more horsepower if you don't have the M sport package on your BMW, which I don't. But the smoothness of the ride and the feel it gives, I take drives just for the pure joy of it. Own the road.

I've driven beamers and benzes. Honestly I prefer the feel of the Maxima. My car before this Altima coupe was a Max.

I've never bought a new car. I was going to explore all options. I figure there has to be some incentive to buying new (e.g. better financing offers, warranty). If it doesn't make sense for me I'd buy a low mileage though.

If you like the maxima you should check out infiniti. You may be able to get a bunch more options for not too much more. I sold nissans and infiniti for a long time and they are both very nice and super dependable.

I test drove an M3 and an M5 sedan and while the M5 was a little better, they both made me feel car sick. I don't know what it was but I just didn't like it and not a fan of needing a puke bucket in my car.

I do like the looks of the X series and might try one of those next. Harry if you like the new Maxima's I would test drive an Infiniti. Tad bit more money but a more comfortable ride and better resale value.

See post #227.
Depending on the deal Infiniti may not cost much more. The Maxima being a new model may not be as discounted as say a Q50

? Fill me in

Pocketrocket's journey has been similar to your own, adversity, battling to Rise Above.

Inherent to Physical Existence, this. The question of whether we can discuss your own struggles here within this life since you felt it necessary to plop onto the table outta nowhere Pocket's struggles is a fair question, totally justified.

Its a Rhetorical Question though, requires no answer, just asked to make you consider if the shadow of Judgement, like, Judging others is the best light in your considered opinion for you to choose to stand within.

Like if you feel as though thats the best choice of all available postures for you (or any human) to assume.

Pocket's journey is what is is and has been. The path he's taken is just that, a path. Everyone takes a path. You made a conscious choice to attack Pocket's totally unprovoked, for what reason I have no earthy idea, only suspicion that you lash out in such a manner because you are pissed off about your own bad decisions. So you Rage Against PocketRocket's to actually Rage Against Your own Self and your shortcomings.

We all have these though, shortcomings, our own struggles etc.

So I think you can "see" how it would be disappointing when a guy calls another guy on their circumstance, when it supposed to be a more Brotherly Vibe here and Negativity can't possibly bring anything positive to this place, unprovoked attacks judgement calling out puzzling why?
like what was the point, how did it further you stuff like that tantamount to pissing in the punchbowl.

Just......why?

Sold a ton of g37's and g35's before that. In 2012 you could lease a g37 for 24 months for 300 bucks. They were so cheap on that deal that when they came back the customers would just drop em off and walk away cuz we couldnt keep their same payments. Nissan took a big hit on all those cars we grounded

Hmmm ok then

lmao, this is a slow brain's answer... after all that explanation on life struggle and psychological analysis of your behavior you could only come back with "hmmmm ok then"... thanks for proving Moneyline Dog's point and making your insults (or attempts at an insult) seem like drop of water that wont affect no one in the short nor the long term. You can go back to your monosyllabic answers at kindergarten, let the grown ups speak thank you
