AHole and wish Everett had REALLY kicked his ass! Never have to look at him anymore. We (Minn) played em both, and NO Iowa wouldn`t kick Mich. butt. On a neutral, both playing well Mich. by 6. The Big 10 is really down this yr and think Cal will win by 10 or more. Purdue MAY be the best bet in the Bowls. We sure as hell don`t deserve to go anywhere except No. Dak. if they had one.

Props to Ferentz and his Hawkeye team. They are the best in the Big Ten, and would blow out Michigan if they played them at home. This guy is one heck of a coach. He's welcome to come to Champaign to work anytime. Fish, it looks like I might be heading down there with some Iowa fans to go to the bowl game. Viking611 just scored a huge load of tickets.
COOL!

May need quite a few form you!

Fish, You would have had to listened to Rome's whole take. He was being sarcastic on the subjuect and he was basically ribbing Iowa's fans that he might be leaving. He really does think Iowa's coach is pretty good. He just does it in a clever way to where you might think thats what he is saying. I was listening the show and thats exactly what i got out of it

If JoePa had had the good sense to step aside two years ago he would have been ideal for Penn State in my opinion (a PSU alumn). But, now they will never pay him them the money the NFL will pay him now that he is a much hotter commodity. One of Top 3 coaches in NCAA for sure and can't think of anybody better to take over a program.

The last two years have been the worst in awhile. Spanier made the decision to extend Joe for four more years last year so I don't think it's even on his mind to let Joe go. Knowing how the administration is Joe will coach until he says he's done which is the right thing to do IMO knowing what he's done for us over the years.

Ferentz is a local boy and he is a very good coach but the exit strategy that Joe had discussed with the administration and the other coaches had him naming Bradley as the successor so I don't think they had planned to approach Ferentz even if Joe had stepped aside. I wouldn't mind having Kirk here though he is a great coach but Bradley isn't that bad either. The way the defense performed this year made me an even bigger Bradley fan because they never quit.

I think Joe will at least coach out the 4 year deal because he had a promising recruiting year this past year getting Morelli and Conner. We really need to get some better targets for Morelli to get the ball to and the offensive line really needs to be upgraded but overall I'm not dissapointed in Joe. I'm more dissapointed in Galen Hall and the offensive play calling (when are we not upset with play calling in Happy Valley) than I am with any other part of this team. Hopefully we can get better and get some players in the game that will allow us to extend the field.

Just my opinion....but I think we're not in terrible shape right now.

Unless he came back to the take after my lunch got over, I disagree that that's what he was saying. I listen to the show, and I know that he's sarcastic a lot of the time, but I don't think so on this one.

Rome is an entertaining, and sometimes hilarious, host. But I just didn't think he was kidding around at all. Especially since he brought up the USC pounding in the Orange Bowl.

Rome actually thinks He's a good coach and has had him on his Show. He was ribbing the fans more then anything else because Iowa fans think their better then everyone else. Every once in awhile listeners just don't know when Rome is kidding or not. I've listened to him enough to know that he doen't really think he is a dime a dozen coach.

Rome is an obnoxious twit. Being constrovserial and outspoken drives ratings ... it doesn't provide ******* Rome with a clue.

I haven't watched him in years -- never will again.
