I saw a guy hit 11 blacks in a row once. He kept putting all his chips double or nothing until he hit the limit and walked. Right after he walked it hit red. He seemed a bit strange and kept putting his chips on black after he joined the table. After the 7th straight black I started riding his luck (while also thinking wtf?) and won 4 times on black myself before he left. Wish I could have dumb luck like that.

True man, sometime the streak seems to go on for awhile but it's a chance. I prefer to go the other way.

Jets ML is tempting. Half a unit is affordable but to me unlikely. The chances are very slim. Most ppl tease to what? 7.5? So you take NE at -2 on a 7.5pt tease and could very well win by 1 pt and kill every teaser out there or you could tease to +17 and have even better value.

I don't see the Jets winning SU, but I do see a cover by the Jets.......everyone saw Pats blowout the Bengals on Sunday night primetime & dismantle the Bills while Geno Smith looked like a highschool qb last week........Jets have lost 5 str games & haven't covered any games this year........0-5-1 ATS .......they cover tonight!

I think people tend to over value small/medium sized factors like a rivalry, which don't get me wrong can definitely play a part, but look over the even bigger more obvious factors such as this team playing absolutely terrible this season. Yeah, you might be right and they might finally play a break out game. But if you were to make this bet 100 or 1000 times, I would think not only would it be a complete gamble but also a losing wager anyways. I could be wrong, maybe you know something I don't. It just seems like there are much better spots this weekend than betting this game for the sake of betting TNF.

I agree that if played 100 or 1000x, the outcome would be 99/1 Pats. But IMO there's 2 spots to take the Jets. In this spot or against the weakest team of the season. Even the worst team in the league covers at least 3-4x a season. The jets haven't covered shit unless you got the GB line at the right time.

The patriots were a team that were already expected to be pretty decent this year. They started off really slow but seem to be finding a rhythm and on the rise. I think that has to be factored in as well, and we all know what happens when the pats find a rhythm. They have some good momentum going into this game as to where the Jets have none. One thing you have going for you aside from the rivalry is that Mayo and Ridley are out, which should help some. I haven't really studied the pats back-up RB in depth but he seems alright. A lot of this is opinion based and everyone is entitled to one. Anyways, I'm not on the line so I hope you cover buddy. BOL.

Thank you! It's the largest play of the week for me, but I'm playing Saints the same amount. So in essence if I lose this game, you won't hear me on here cussing about how they should've won the game or this or that. It's one bet out of a long season. I can afford this loss if it indeed loses. I just find that it holds value. First time ever jets are DD dogs. Will they kill it? Or will they become 0-1 as a DD? We'll see!
