I do look at how many spots they are higher and you guys sometimes forget but "PLAY BETTER TEAM" means play the better team ***AS RANKED BY SYSTEM 2!!*** heh. That means they are ranked 27 spots better which, in a 120 team league, means they are basically 22% better than MIA-OH. Although execution in key situations will still affect the outcome of the game as it always does... you have to ask yourself if you think this team will CONSISTENTLY outperform the other in 3rd downs/etc. My opinion: OHIO will outperform MIA-OH and probably win the game/cover.
But to answer your question (my bad) the difference in teams doesn't always mean the better team will cover--remember me saying that there are teams that my system doesn't account for correctly and i don't know how to adjust it so I just forget about them usually. IE: USC... they usually outperform their opponents but I have to set the bar higher for them cuz the spreads are usually larger. I had their ONE LOSS this year correct but I think I've lost 2 other games I bet on vs them. A larger differential DOES NOT always mean it's the better game to pick, that's why I have so many systems lol.

OHIO was a decent play but it just didnt fully meet what I wanted and OHIO screwed me over last week so I hold a grudge against them. Actually BOISE ST spread is a good look I believe if you don't like the total. I felt the same way on that rivalry game... at by -15 I might have played but 18+ it was kinda hard to take an OLE MISS team that isn't that dominating this year. Ask anytime about the chart cuz I'm always learning that some teams are skewed the wrong way so a big difference might look like a power play but really not even excusable as a play sometimes.
