Not sure it is a relevant statistic dating back 14 years. Not disrespecting your system but a more current head-to-head would be plausible. Still believe UCLA can be respectable especially with Neuhesiel as coach and more so with Fulmer coaching Tenn.
Good luck with your continued plays....
It's the best I could bring up... I didn't even realize the dates. If you can think of teams that are similar quality to TN I can try to bring those up and see how those went.

About the SEC. The only stats I could pull up for UCLA vs SEC was:
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=left width="12%">09/01/2001</TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap width="25%">at Alabama</TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="8%">20-17</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
It was a PK so they won SU and ATS. There might be more games but I don't know where to find them lol. As far as TN playing PAC-10:
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=left width="12%">09/01/2007</TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap width="25%">at California</TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="8%">31-45</TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="8%">L </TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="8%">(L ATS)</TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="8%"></TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="10%"></TD><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="10%"><TD class=TSN5 noWrap align=middle width="10%"> </TD></TR><TR><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=left width="12%">09/02/2006</TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap width="25%">vs. California</TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="8%">35-18</TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="8%">W </TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="8%">(W ATS)</TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="8%"></TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="10%"></TD><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="10%"><TD class=TSN1 noWrap align=middle width="10%"> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
High scoring affairs. I also found some recent news:
University of Tennessee defensive back Brent Vinson and defensive tackle Donald Langley have been suspended for the team's first game of the season.
The school's head coach, Phillip Fulmer, announced that Vinson and Langley will miss the season opener at UCLA on September 1 because of an academic- related issue. The players will, however, be eligible for the Volunteers' game against University of Alabama-Birmingham on September 13. Vinson, a sophomore, played in 14 games (10 starts) last season and was second on the team with eight passes defended. Langley redshirted last season.
Word on the street is that OLSON (BRUINS QB) is also out... which I think may be good news if anything. It's also eye-catching and superstitious that TENN likes to score about 30PPG in the stats I've listed.

UCLA OFF vs TENN DEF
333 : 403 Y/G
3.7 : 4.2 Y/RUSH
6.1 : 6.8 Y/ATT
TENN OFF vs UCLA DEF
401 : 343 Y/G
4.2 : 3.0 Y/RUSH
6.9 : 6.0 Y/ATT
Read the numbers carefully. UCLA's OFFENSE gains only 333y/g but TENN's DEFENSE gives up 403y/g. I look at these as important factors on game control. The tempo favors UCLA because in return: TENN's OFFENSE outputs 401y/g while the UCLA DEFENSE holds teams to 343y/g. In all games--penalties and big plays are going to be big factors if they arise. *BUT* surely if the game goes "correctly" by my standards then UCLA will either lose by 3 points or win by 4-10. I'm liking the 7 they get and also the intense factor making this an OVER PLAY.

So UCLA is coming off what looks to be a bad season but their ATS proves that they are actually being overlooked. Their record makes them KNOWN LOSERS but take a gander at the points allowed and points put up. 22.4 vs 22.3 allowed. They score more then they allow yet they closed the season 6-7. Weird? Sure! The O/U statistic doesn't really help me but by the looks of the scoring--it appeals to me as an over. Mind you that TENN was 2-4 W/L as an away team last year... possible upset? Eh? Who knows, I'm taking the points and the over.
