i enjoy it.. Recreational $ for me. I play heads up and do some 50/50's .. Play in some big ones just to take a shot.

Am doing pretty decent playing heads up, and cash more than I don't in the 50's..

99.99% of people who join the site aren't going to turn $3 into 10k and obviously most people don't win a few hundred a week. Most people lose, like most forms of gambling.

GPPs definitely have better long-term EV but also far more variance than "cash games" like h2h and 50/50s.

It's tough to say how much overlay there will be week 1. Usually the sites like to take chances week 1 to see what demand is going to be. DraftKings is far more aggressive at this than FanDuel, so they will likely have some decent overlay.

Congrats on being alive and avoiding the ER. Pretty amazing feat.

Time will tell how effective that advertising campaign will be, but damn it's gotta be annoying for a lot of people to see that over and over and over.

Can't stand those commercials they are everywhere almost as sickening as the 'My Pillow" crap.

You realize that it will only get worse if gambling is ever legalized nationwide.

Now you mostly have just Draft Kings and Fanduel, you will get ads from a
shit load of other companies if legalized.

I watch lots of streams from London based broadcasting and that is all you see over and over, ads from bookies.
