Her success at Poker has me scratching my head and saying this game is more luck and catching cards than I previously thought or the Phil "the Unabomber" Laak is one hell of a teacher of the game of Poker. Maybe, though she is just a quick learner and a decent player??? Just strange how a "B" movie actress who probably had no idea what a "flush" or a "straight" was a year ago, wins a WSOP ladies title and a WPT ladies title. Just saw her on PokerSuperstars III headsup against Antonio Esfandiari (and oh my, whatever you think of her face/looks, she was wearing something so low cut I thought her were going to fall out...probably doing it on purpose to distract the guys and man it would have worked on me...I am a big tit man though...anyway would like everyone's thoughts on her recent rise to success in the poker world.

I think with the new wave to poker over the last few years, alot of playing has now come down to luck.

I have often wondered this myself but if a person comes in with a tight style and then gets to learn one on one with poker's best players in the world I think that success can come pretty fast!!!!!

Besides that rack would keep me from calculating pot odds!!! HE HE HE

The WPT Ladies Night Invitational is a six-person SnG. I wouldn't be that excited....Evelyn Ng won the first one and Isabelle Mercier won the second one.

Heard she caught a fair amount of good cards on her way to the final table in winning the WSOP Ladies title and that the other players couldn't put any moves on her because of that.

Liz Lieu was strictly a cash game player until a year ago. I think she finished 6th in one of the WSOP events. She plays on the Professional Poker Tour as well.
