King James could soon be looking for a new realm.
LeBron James, who is in England as part of a worldwide promotional tour, said Saturday it is still unclear whether he will stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers when his contract runs out at the end of the upcoming season.
"I haven't decided," said James, who also spoke to dozens of kids wearing T-shirts with "Earn the crown" and "The King is coming" written on them.
The 2009 MVP has been linked to the New York Knicks, and the arrival of Shaquille O'Neal in Cleveland could be the deciding factor depending on how the two superstars get along.
"I think it's going to be great," James said of the playing with Shaq. "It's an opportunity to play with a Hall of Famer. He demands respect."
James has been traveling the world to promote his documentary "More Than A Game," but his stop in the British capital was aimed at helping the locals spread the game of basketball to areas of London that have had problems with gang violence.
The kids who took part in Saturday's program got to hear what James did to make his way to the NBA.
"I wanted to play ball no matter what time of the day it was, no matter what the weather was," James said. "Playing ball for me was a release as a kid."
He even showed off some of his skill.
James grabbed a ball from one of the kids and then dunked it, drawing huge cheers from the crowd. The run-down court he was standing on will be turned into a 500-seat facility as part of the program James was promoting.
"I was blessed and fortunate that we were allowed to have courts to play on," James said.
James was following in the footsteps of another basketball great at the south London school. Michael Jordan walked through the same halls in 2006 to promote a similar program.
