Raiders starters won't play long. Gannon is in for one series, then the backup Tuisasapo or whatever is in for the rest of the first quarter. Rick Mirer may get some snaps but it sounds like Tee Martin will play most of the game at QB for Oakland. It looks like this game could go either way, so why not take the dog? Opinions?
going purely on memory, 2 years ago the Raiders started out strong it the preseason, beating the Cowboys in their first game. Last year, they came out really slow, and looked like shit their first two games. Yeah, they're old, lol, so maybe they're afraid of getting hurt or something. I have the same opinion, the odds on some of these games could be decided with a coin flip, so why not take the ML? If I had to, I might actually bet on the Rams in this one. The Raiders roster is pretty much set, there's not a whole lot of competition going on, so I imagine they're just going to try and stay healthy. Tui and Bulger are both solid backups. I would maybe give the Raiders the edge with Mirer playing 2nd or 3rd stringers, but who knows...
