One might be tempted to invest in Jacksonville because of how well Trevor Lawrence has been playing.
While I love Lawrence and I am a Jags fan, let me caution you against this.
The teams that Lawrence has been thriving against have had either a low-ranked pass defense or, like Dallas, a cornerback group beleaguered by injury.
Lawrence's opponent, though, ranks fourth in pass defense. So, he won't play well. But neither will New York's quarterback.
The Jaguars have struggled against teams with top-level wide receivers, which the Jets lack.
Plus, the Jets' star running back is injured.
