So seattle to cover the 8 correct? Shit. I'm gonna buy back my dallas play.
I have to say ''ReBorn" J.J.Bascus power rating is about right? at -9 1/2 + points. Well consider this "ReBorn" I realize 8 1/2 points is a lot to cover? However, I talked to J.J. in Reno on the phone about him picking a big cover on Seattle couple days ago. He said to me +3 for home +3 for noise[ thee loudest stadium in the NFL & +2 for Percy Harvin, there is your 8 points Mr. Hat///LOL/LOL. Not counting Seattle defense that allows a league-low 62.2 rushing yards per game. But Seattle is best at home, covering 15 of their last 20. Wilson ran for 122 yards, threw for 201 more and accounted for three touchdowns in the win at Washington. He’s accounted for nine touchdowns and one turnover in four games and has become almost impossible to defend because of his ability to run zone-read plays. Wilson doesn't seem to miss Golden Tate, either. Percy Harvin, Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin form a dangerous receiver trio and Marshawn Lynch is pounding opponents as usual, having scored six times. Who ever you bet on ReBorn good luck to you in the rest of NFL season. Mr.Hårr¥THëHÄT

Atlanta Falcons -3 as the point chalk are undefeated at home this season behind some solid wins over New Orleans (37-34 OT) and Tampa Bay (56-14). Overall, Matt Ryan has been putting up some staggering stats, he’s second behind Andrew Luck with 1,579 yards, 11 touchdowns, six interceptions and six sacks. He’s also averaging 8.02 yards per game. Meanwhile, the Falcons offense is one of the best in the league. They are 2nd in passing offense with 319.2 yards per game, 17th in rushing offense with 115.4 yards per game and averaging 30.2 points per game. Quarterback Matt Ryan posted passer ratings of 155.9 (career-high) and 128.8 in the team's two wins at the Georgia Dome this season while he did not even reach a 90.0 passer rating in three road losses. I would expect him to have the same type of home success this week against a Bears team that has surrendered 26.2 points per game. Sure, the Falcons will give up points as well, but nobody expects them to win games with their defense. Ryan and the offense should have a better rhythm in the dome and should be able to get down the field, considering the Falcons lead the league with 28 plays of 20-plus yards. On the flip side overall lowly ranked defense that allows an average of 28.6 points against. Well ladies and gentlemen of the jury [SX Members and Friends] the Bears are giving up 26.2 points per game while the Falcons are giving up around 28.6 points per game. If there were an edge to tip the balance, it would be the Falcons offense and the quality of Matt Ryan. Jay Cutler and the Bears offense are sure to have success against the Falcons defense, but the for turnovers, costly interceptions and misfires could render any offense a big question on this game. It could prove deciding altogether. Point spread Falcons -3 while the money line -$165.. The whales and the Sharpies jumped on this game in the -$150 range close to the opener. You don't need to be a rocket scientist evaluate this move by whales and sharpies playing the money line against the point spread? Oh by the way +$140 OR +$144 has not moved with the Bears and either is the spread.

NOTE Technical analysis has come under scrutiny by fundamental handicappers and some sports betters due to the fact that anybody searching a database randomly for patterns will find situations that have produced very good results. However, the key is to look for situations that make sense. I don't use trends such as "The Steelers are 13-2 in week number 7" (Do they actually know that week 7 is their week and gain confidence from it?) and rarely or seldom "bet on home dogs from +2 to +4 if it's a weeknight MAC game" (the more narrow the point spread range is the more likely it is a random occurrence and not a true indicator of a real pattern).

Well Seattle is 5/15 as a conference favorite in the month of October...........and 1/14 vs any team at any spread if they are off 2 wins.........I suppose they do know it is October.......Dallas has the better offense and the better defense

Thanks Harry for the info and writeups !!!

My one play for Sunday will be on the Atlanta Falcons. I have been thinking about it for 2-3 days. The stats do back them up when playing at home. Instead of grabbing the ML @ -165, my approach will be to place an in-game wager and hope that the Bears go up 7-0 to immediately start things off. That's where I will get the value I would like. I even think that the Bears going up 3-0 might bring the ML down to within reason for me. I know that anything and everything can happen but the Falcons @ home are very capable of putting up some points.

Thanks and Good Luck!!! :103631605 alwatts

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLY,S AND READING MY THREADS, WHO EVER YOU PREDICT, AND PICK & BET, VERY GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL SX MEMBERS AND FRIENDS THIS SUNDAY IN THE NFL.[[[[ There are generally two types of sports gamblers as previously stated in my past thread or post. There are those who pick up the schedule and look at the point spreads for each game and say, "Eight points are too many, I'm betting the underdog," or there are those who will pick up the schedule and compare the point spreads to their own numbers and say, "This team is favored by eight points, yet I only have them winning by three, so I'll bet the underdog." Simply stated, power ratings are numbers that show the projected disparity between teams in points from a mathematical perspective. While the point spread has to factor in public opinion, power ratings do not, and for that reason alone, should be more accurate than the point spread more times than not. The fact that most successful sports bettors will most definitely fall into the second category, tells you all you need to know whether it's worth your time and effort to keep power ratings for football and basketball. A very important tool I use in betting the NFL& NBA. ITS YOUR CALL!!!!!!????]]]] Good Luck all SX members and FriendsMr.HARRYtheHAT
