These early-season college basketball totals are too good to pass up. I’m hammering the Under for most of these, of course; it’s already the old-school sharp side, and the Under carries even more weight during these first few games while the offenses work out the bugs.
Out of the 358 teams in Division I last year, IUPUI had the distinction of finishing No. 358 on Ken Pomeroy’s efficiency charts, including dead-last on offense. The Jaguars also operated at one of the slowest paces in Division I. Drake were obviously better on both sides of the ball, but they too move like molasses on the court. Expect more of the same this Wednesday.
