wrong pace is 123 with a 69 2nd half total
:think2:

They scored 54 points in the first half. If they score 54 in the second half, they'll finish with 108. That's really the simplest way to figure this. Not all games score more points in the second half, and I would be VERY surprised to read that the national average for every game after an entire season is 8 points more in the second half. Even if you're right, and they score 8 more in the second half, they'll finish with 116, not 123.

I also checked the scoreboard at covers, and they don't add in any points for second-half bias when projecting the total in-game.

He is saying that the 2nd half totals are adjusted generally by 8 points. This is an accurate statement.

If a game has total of say 140, you will usually see the line at
66 1st Half
74 2nd Half (give or take a .5)

If Northwestern takes the floor in the second half instead of Northeastern, I want a refund on my IUPUI wager. :lolBIG:

Might be better off facing that sorry Northwestern team that went 1-17 in the Big Ten last year.

The line doesn't have anything to do with the pace, and it's the pace that he said I was figuring incorrectly.

Why you guys gotta rip on my Wildcats? Hahaha. Unfourtanately, I'm a Northwestern fan. :lolBIG:

Seriously though, things will be better for them this year (they would just about have to be, right?) Having Coble for a full season, Juice Thompson with a year under his belt, Craig Moore for one more year, the best freshman class they've had for a long time (John Shurna will make an immediate impact) I think NU will finish around 7th or 8th in the conference.

Okay, sorry, I digress. Back to the game that is actually happening....
