Atalanta/Messina under 2.5 -123 (PointBet)
This match was originally scheduled for 12/18/04 and I had the under 2.5 for that match as well. Bad weather postponed this to 1/19/05 where both teams will start at 0-0 and a full match will be played.

Now for the good stuff-
Messina has not scored more than 1 goal in 7 out of their last 8 matches. Atalanta had gone 6 matches in a row without scoring until their last 3 matches where they have scored only 1 goal.

Just wanted to add another angle on this match. Both teams played last weekend and will also play this weekend coming up. I can't see a whole lot of effort put into this mid-week match.

i like it too, but i am also looking at a messina win (not yet decided). Atalanta is completely crap away..all we ask for is messina to score once.

I thought about that too chriscol but with most unders I am skeptical to bet even a -0.5. But now that I look at Atalanta's record they are 0 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses on the road. Messina is 4-3-1 at home so you may have something there.

Good luck. I hope you win.

On another note, I see the Freiburg is on the road this weekend at Hansa. Hansa has only drawn once at home with all their other home matches losses. As bad as Freiburg is, would it be worth a bet to take them at +0.5 given Hansa's record at home?

definetely not..freiburg is even worse than rostock and i expect for 2nd half of season that rostock will at least have a good chance of not getting relegated. Freiburg is simply bad and has almost given up.

i am thinking strongly about a pick on rostock here, but will do my capping on friday. early leans are also to schalke, stuttgart and wolfsburg, but i'll see what i am coming up with on friday/saturday morning.

Quan, Could it be that both teams are bad enough to allow goals to each other. Has their previous competition been solid?

Thank you

that'S what worries me too a bit (messina won on the weekend 3-1). I still like the under, but the messina win is the stronger play for me

Atlanta best midfielder is out for the game today!! The reason the odd is so low because mess played like craps last two games. Atlanta on the other hand are improved. Howerever, Mess are tough nut at home vs never win on the road..

Good question general. I take that into consideration.

Looking at Messina, they have given up 3 goals and 5 goals in past matches. However, they have not given up more than 1 goal at home since Nov. 7th and Atalanta has not scored more than 1 goal in any match in that same timeframe. Atalanta is no slouch on defense. Only against Roma have they given up more than 1 goal in their last 10 matches.

This is possibly the worst, most dangerous betting advice I have ever read:

1. Ave number of goals per game in Serie A this season is 2.52
2. Germany does have a higher goals per game ratio than any other major european league but that is all in the odds offered. Most games are 2.5/3 , most others are 3 ball.
3. Home advantage in France is worth 0.43 this season, do you think the bookies don't know that and make the necessary adjustments to the odds?
4. Take the top 3 in the EPL?????? 1/5 (-500) Chelsea this weekend or 1/3 (-300) Man United. Does anyone know the way to the poor house?
