Catania are unbeaten, 6-3-0, at home against teams not in top few spots and 6-1-0 at home against teams outside the top 11 (Sampdoria are 14th). Sampdoria haven't scored on the road in four months and have their best player hurt and central defender suspended. Catania 3-0-1 at home vs Sampdoria in last 4 years
