my good buddy is addicted to that shit, posters all over his house, buys memorabilia from them (jail letters, autographs, etc), and has a whole library of books, and that’s about all he reads.

Most serial killers focus is not the kill but sexual in nature or based on sadomasochistic behaviors
The killing is often about getting rid of evidence or inconvenience
though I am sure many enjoy watching the life drain out of their victims which is why they usually do it up close and personal with their hands or a weapon whcih is not a gun
The dark side of the mind is always interesting
The same reason people watch documentaries on Hitler or Pol Pot or other leaders
We like looking into the face of evil
Sometimes just looking at the persons face and saying..."that person did such and such" Seeing the visual of the person that did it
I don't watch that anymore because I understand it tends to be simliar and it gets boring once you have seen enough of it
But the most interesting part is how they became that way and what led up to their first assault /kill
And how they were viewed by friends and families before being caught
