I just read an article today that 19 of the 23 major casino hotels in macau are sold out for the chinese new year, and I read last week that vegas was profitable for the first time since 2008 I believe. Would any of you be buying wynn down here? The stock is $93.xx and was $260+ 2-3 years ago. The new wynn palace opened in macau and from what Ive read is out of this world and then they're opening the wynn in boston next year or 2019 i believe and then there is the paradise park coming in vegas which will replace the golf course and I read that steve is hoping that will do $500mm a year vs the golf course currently doing $5mm.

LVS is good too but LVS the market cap is 4-5x as much as wynn so I think wynn could have more upside.

Anyone else buying these casinos now? LVS reports tomorrow Im excited to see what these casinos can do and if the bottom is in!

Sands came in lighter than expected. Down 5% in extended trading. It probably will take Wynn down with it tomorrow.

I think Wynn is gonna have good earnings bc right after sands had bad earnings, wynn sent out a press release moving earnings up 2 weeks to tomorrow. What's the point in that unless you're trying to stop sector bleeding? Did you hear sands conference call, they said one woman in macau beat them so bad it threw off their numbers I was like WTF?!?! Wynn palace seems to have amazing reviews on trip advisor while parisian from LVS doesn't. Who knows we will see tomorrow LVS is a $50B co WYNN isnt even $10B, I still like it long term. I forgot to mention the plaza that will be done this october adding 115k sq ft of retail space at $300/sq ft rent which he sold 49.99% stake in for I wanna say almost $500m
