Is Philly & Mcnabb That Bad????

I went 2-1 today. With Miami & Baltimore winning & Philly sucking.Don't want to seem bitter, but how does Philly lose to Dallas?
Maybe Mcnabb should use some of his friend,RUSH's, painkillers?!! I think they
started on the 50yd line on every drive & did nothing. Anyway going over in tonites game as
everyone else is going under!!!!

I wouldn't touch the Eagles with money until most of the defense gets back healthy. The offense is pressing and the defense that is being thrown out there is just way too young to compete. Most of the secondary is built with special teams guys that are forced to pull double duty because the starters are hurt. It's a double whammy and they are showing it on special teams (which hasn't been very good to begin with) and on defense where guys that play up front are playing way too many minutes because of injuries. Philly's D is built on rotating front men in and out and allowing the corners to play 1 on 1 with the wideouts and blitzing like mad but when you don't have the guys at corner in there that can play one on one you can't blitz the safeties and linebackers like they almost always do. With the offense pressing and thinking they have to play a perfect game to win because of all the injuries on defense it's a recipie for disaster. The Eagles have a lot of healing to do before they will be competitive. I wouldn't touch them with your money much less my own.

I gotta agree. I don't think the D did all that bad today. They gave up the onside kick touchdown, and the special teams gave up 65 yds on the winning kickoff to give dalls the winning fg.

If McNabb can't get 1 yard in 3 snaps to try and get Philly in FG range w/ one of the best kickers in the game... C'mon they brought 7 guys on ALL THREE of the last snaps. McScab has been in the league long enough to know what to do. Face it, he is very average.

They started at or near mid field at least 5 or 6 times. No excuse for not scoring any points. Shoud have been an easy win.

Philly's D is not that bad but their offense sucks. I can't tell if it's McNabb or the offensive line. Either way Rush is right, McNabb might be the most overrated QB in the league.
