Seems like he is hardly ever on...And it seemed like Bill Clinton was always on...Perhaps its best George Bush does less live appearances...I would think his aides cringe at times over some of the things he says...

And why doesn`t anyone tell him how to pronounce the word NUCLEAR!? Its not Nucular Georgie lol..sounds like Archie Bunker with his pronunciation.

WTF am I spelling it right? NUCLEAR? Yeah thats it lol...
Jesus, after hearing Bush butcher the word... I forgot how its spelled!

"Mr. President, can you think of anything you might have done wrong since 9/11 and if so, how do you wish you might have done it differently?"

GWB: Uhh, gee, blush, stammer, I wish you'd given me that written question beforehand so I could have had time to think about it....ummm, well, I'm sure there's something, but right now it's not coming to me...I guess it's because I'm just not communicating it too well....blush, stammer, sheepish smile, shuffle of feet...(I'm just an average Joe, please like me even if I'm not answering your question).....

FROM CNN.com

The televised news conference was only the third of Bush's presidency to be delivered in prime time. The previous two were March 6, 2003 -- to talk about the war in Iraq -- and October 11, 2001, one month after the terrorist attacks.

Bush has held fewer formal news conferences than any president in modern history, but he takes reporters' questions in more informal settings throughout the year.

As long as Bush doesn't go wobbly on us it doesn't matter. Clintoon was a great speaker, which was all talk and no action. Give me the action.

Well he must give the State of the Union once a year, which he does, but the rest of the statements he leaves for Don "lets keep all our engagements small" Rumsfeld and Colin "I can't believe I am defending these guys again" Powell. Oh and who could forget the contributions of Dick "I am still living in the Reagan years" Cheney. If those guys fail he can always call on John "turn that damn music off" Ass-croft and in a real jam he probably gets a few kind words from Antonin "turn that recorder off" Scalia.

With a team like that who needs the boss to talk???

I realize the State of the Union is once a year, it just seems he has hardly ever been on at any other time..And in his 3.5 years he has had many more reasons to be than most of the recent presidents.

If you were as inarticulate as him, would you want to expose yourself to the world often?
