I have to go to a wake on Friday night, and I was wondering if it is appropriate to tailgate in the parking lot beforehand.


I am not talking about bringing a grill and cooking steaks, just a cooler or two.

If your cool enuff (like me) to pull it off you'll park in the furthest parking spots in the lot, drink your beer share your good stories about said dead then go in to the wake looking like class.

If your a dick (like some) you'll park close and make said dead family walk past you and your drunkin buddies pissing on a tree as motly crew blairs from a pinto then enter wake sit in the back and act like your at the local pub and you need to talk loud enuff to mute the jukebox.

Depends on if whoever passed on was a drinker... In my case I did'nt drink at the wake but I did while I was alone at the Funeral home slip a beer into my Dads casket... I suppose hes cussing at me because I slipped the beer in so far that it's down by his feet & he cant reach it
