Also, your Tico face is no different then any other foreigner who buys property in Mexico, so that's just a dumb statement, an obvious racist shot.

I guess you also forget Mexico uses your country as a middle point to move its drugs from Columbia because your police are corrupt. Less drugs entering the country from Costa Rica would decrease the amount of violence.

One last thing, you don't see the war because your country is very much like Italy and keeps its blinders on. "its not my problem", but people are dying in the streets here for the same reasons they die in the US and Mexico. Drugs/Poverty. Yes, its true Costa Rica is a tiny country with smaller demographics, but major problems exist here. Every country has its problems.

Only a person like yourself would make such a dumb statement about the two countries.

Mexico is massive with an extremley rich culture and history. The Spanish worked hard to destroy it, but its under your feet, under ever grain of soil you walk on in Mexico. Nothing in Costa Rica can compete against it except the indian blood that runs through you. (your better part)

In saying that, I am not running up to Mexico to work for Caliante Sports anytime soon. I think Mexico is one of the most kick ass countries in the world and your an ignorant fool for saying other wise. I have many friends who have lived there and still live there today. You can not compare the two countries. Hell, at least they have a horse track for god sakes. Its economy alone would eat you up in a second. It owns your favorite soccer team. It has deep ties in Costa Rica along with Spain. Its one of the most beautiful places on earth, but you want to gloss over that as well and go right for the negative.

I am not doing some sort of Doctoral Thesis so I am not comparing the culture, magnitude of its economy etc etc etc, just to clear that up in case you missed it

In summary, if you think the points I made are wrong, book yourself a 1 month vacation to the Northern border, then if you survive move to the Southern part and spend a couple of months watching people starving and then if you are still alive go and buy beach front property (you can't, and yeah of course I know that there are workarounds that........but it would pretty much reveal that you are not on an even legal ground over there....since you are not Mexican), there is a reason Mexico doesn't have much of illegal immigration
