So, Blubber Boy is lawyering up, eh? And, with about a half dozen different groups looking into this, 20 subpoenas are only the beginning, they gonna be all UP his fat ass, can't WAIT for that fat whale to be harpooned, maybe they can stick Gas Bag on the same harpoon for a Blubber Boy shish kabob...

My question would be who cares. I have never considered Blubber Boy to be a real factor. Much ado over nothing in my book. And all this is nothing compared to Benghazi, and the IRS scandal et al. Just another main stream diversion. Next

We should VALUE your opinion, right, since it has been so spot on when it came to the 2012 presidential elections. Oh, wait... Polls showed, before all this bridge stuff, that Christie was, by far, the best hope for the Repubs in 2016, his resounding victory in a very Blue state was evidence. That right there shows that you, as usual, haven't a fucking clue what you're talking about. And for you to sit there in Oklahoma and say that these multiple incidents involving the tri state area in New York are "much ado over nothing" shows even MORE that you are a clueless putz. Play around with your oil derricks, Rusted Brain. Btw, the mayor of Hoboken gave an interview this morning in which she said she was specifically told if her city didn't get behind a big Rockefeller real estate product, Hoboken-which was especially hurt by the storm-wouldn't get any Sandy money. She didn't, and THEY didn't-and she's not the only mayor, I suspect, who got threatened in that way. But, no big deal, right?

Fucking moron...

It looks like the media are working to dig up more stuff about Christie. New allegations by a mayor that they were using Hurricane Sandy's relief funds as a political tool.

No a fucking moron is someone who ignores the fact that I am not a registered Republican. Duh. You bring up Sandy and you do not mention the Tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. What a hypocrite. Clueless, that would be you. Just because I see Obama and his administration for what they really are does not mean I agree with what the pollsters say about something that is two years away. So now you want to spot light Christie as the great Republican hope and ignore Obama as the greatest dissapointment in our history. Obamacare alone tells you all you need to know. I said it once and I will say it again, let Christie lie in his on stuff but Obama should do the same. Obama has the lame stream on his side and the lame stream aims at any Republican target that pops up. Oil derricks, glad you brought that up because Oklahoma is booming, how is New York doing with all these liberals leaders in place. I say that the Christie thing is much ado over nothing, much like the majority of your posts. So sit on your stoop and spout your stuff but everyone on here except your cohorts know better. Probably the best thing that ever happened to the Republican party was for all this to come up surrounding Christie when all is said and done. So grab that 44 oz coke and take a break.

If Christie was a Democrat, none of these 'scandals' would have been reported.

Then again, if the Kenyan was a Republican he'd be in jail.

Wendy Davis, the Texas state senator whose filibuster for abortion rights made her a Democratic superstar and launched her campaign for governor, has admitted to the Dallas Morning News that she lied about key events in her life, including her first divorce. Davis may even have lied under oath, testifying in a federal lawsuit over redistricting that "I got divorced by the time I was 19 years old," when in fact she was divorced at age 21.

Other missing details have included: her second husband paid her way through law school and she divorced him the day after the last payment was made; her ex-husband accused her in initial court filings of adultery, and was awarded custody of their two daughters; and she first ran for city council in Fort Worth as a Republican.
"My language should be tighter,” she said, admitting her campaign biography has been less than truthful.
It is not clear whether the article in the Dallas Morning News, by senior political writer Wayne Slater, is meant to be an exposé or a defense, presenting embarrassing details in the best light possible to present an overall picture of competence. One unidentified source, who said that Davis is "going to figure out a way to spin herself in a way that grabs at the heart strings," is also quoted as saying that "she’d be a good governor."
Regardless, the fact that Davis "blurred" her biography raises questions about her integrity. Her ex-husbandsaid she should not have needed to lie--that her real life is "a better narrative than what they’re trying to paint.”

The media tend to protect Democrats--notably, Barack Obama, Davis's contemporary at Harvard Law School--when they present false "composites" of their lives. It remains to be seen whether they treat Davis the same.

Comment: Did Christie lie to get into office or did I miss something.

But Bit But, if she were a Democrat, none of this would be reported. @):)Shush()*. Just another Wingnut Loon lie, so they can continue to play the BS media is against us card. Good on this reporter for exposing Davis' lies, just like they've exposed the lies of the sick birther movement. The Truth ALWAYS Wins. ALWAYS.

Who gives a flying fuck what party you're registered in, you fucking idiot???? The mayor spoke with federal authorities, yesterday, Sunday, for over two hours, and has offered to take a lie detector test. It's ALWAYS logical to make up a lie and then stroll into the offices of the Feds with it, right? Meanwhile the Lt. Governor who took her aside and demanded that she get behind the project or suffer the consequences, spoke today, and, just as promised, denied everything, looking like something out the Manchurian Candidate or a POW("par-tic-u-larly," lol, see below). Like I said, Hoboken got virtually none of the money it was entitled to, over a year later, so, why is THAT? Either other Democrat mayors who were shaken down and/or some of the 20 odd people who are gonna have to testify under oath are gonna roll over on that fat prick, and I doubt he will finish out his term, let alone get to run for President, and, that IS a big deal, you brain dead, always wrong cocksucker...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: it is SCARY how fucking delusional some of these Right Wing Whackacoos are, and Rusted Brain may not be at the head of the class, but it doesn't take long to call roll and get to him....

Huh. A Dem lied about her background, it was Reported. I hope when/if Marco Rubio runs for Prez, his life story is as heavily scrutinized as Wendy Davis's but I doubt it with this slanted media in the US. Benghazi??? We know the truth, Settled issue except for capturing the perps, in the sane world.

I hope Marco Rubio doesn't run for president.

Blocking witnesses from testifying on Benghazi means it is anything but a "settled issue"

Beat yer meat HARD about Old News, Barney Fife, you're wrong, not to mention, irrelevant to the thread title. Stick a fork into Blubber Boy(Christie, not Gas Bag), 'cause he's done. Like they said, even if he were to get out of all of this-Christie, I mean, fat, chance-he has uttered 2 sentences no Presidential aspirant should say, even if they're true: I delegate enormous responsibility to my staff(cabinet), and, I'm humiliated by the actions of some of the members of my team. Those 2 sentences do not inspire confidence in voters, not even looney Republican ones.
