Yes - with the right chase mathematics and trends.

of you are cost averaging on stocks you are basically chasing out on different level.

not always doubling either (especially if bonuses are involved)

could be 1 unit. 1.1 unit 2.5 etc.

I had a Craps! Chase once that won 20 times in a row and they changed the layout ;)

Gambling in general can be argued as a bad idea. I don't think I am a big chaser but I will from time to time.

I'm not referring to pussy or skirt chasers. :missingte

Are chases, i.e. chase systems, generally a bad idea?

If one is a career sports gambler and you're in it for the long haul you shouldn't chase. You should know you'll be right at it again the next day or so.

I think the OP Is talking about Martingale system not so much losing and getting pissed an make a large bet and get it back in one fail swoop. But I think we’ve all been there one time or another. I like to step up my unit bet if I’m on a roll it’s gone both ways over the years. But you want to make a withdraw sooner or later so if your up take a shot at a large wager hit it and withdraw if lose well it’s back to the drawing board. Lol

There is a somewhat famous and respected bookmaker currently recommending and wagering a Martingale on the LA Dodgers this season---
