I don't know if any of you guys do any traveling or have done. If not, I hope you get a chance to one day soon. I don't mean resorts or Vegas. I mean away from the tourist spots and in countries far away. Taking chicken buses and figuring shit out as you go. If you do or if you have, I am certain you realized how much you don't really care about shit like who marries who.

I dont look down on gays even though i think its gross. I dont understand people who look down on others. We are all human and on this earth together. Seems like it would be a better world if we all quit judging and pointing fingers and learn to be compassionate for one another.

In the restaurant business I've seen it all......a man dressing up like a woman bringing in his kids for dinner, & the mans gf was with him.....funny IMO, but very sick.....how in the world are his kids suppose to grow up normal, at least what I consider normal.

Seen lesbian couples, tranvestites, gay coupled men, etc......do I look down on them? I don't pay any attention to them like the staring they receive from my customers.

I won't treat them any less or better than any other customer.....

Thing is, your interpretation of what religion states about homosexuality differs from mine......this subject is too touchy & I'm glad no one in my family is gay & none of my relatives aren't either, at least from what I know.

Ya I think only about 1/3 of Americans even own a passport also. I kinda understand actually because the USA has such a variety to offer. Its an amazing country. Having said that, there is so much more in the world. I know not everyone can get up and leave for weeks at a time. But if you can somehow do it, then do it.

Person A thinks gay marriage violates the sanctity of the sacrament. I can respect that viewpoint even though I might not agree with it.

Person B thinks affording gays the right to marry is affording them basic human rights. I can respect that viewpoint even though I might not agree with it.

What I DON'T respect is person B trashing person A for his viewpoint (or vice versa).
