Hey 18677, I found something funny about some of your picks.

Check yours yesterdays thread....

The Soccer Guru

todays pick: FC Kaiserslautern -133 (germany) 2:15est

small bet on tie.

record: 8-0-3

VictoriousPlay Soccer Monday:

FK Teplice vs. 1. FC Brno
November 17th, 2008 / 17:15
Soccer - Czech League
A game between two teams performing very similarly this year on the czech league - both are tied with 16 points from 13 games. The home side, 9th, has a 3-1-2 record in their own stadium, while Brno has a 2-3-2 away record. So what can make the difference in today's game? besides the home advantage, Teplice is in better form than their opponents who are coming from a 6 game winless streak. After a hard couple of weeks with many away matches, Teplice can finally play in their stadium and take the change to win three points from a direct opponent.
VictoriousPlay: Teplice (0,-0.5)
Odds: 1.88

1. FC Kaiserslautern vs. FC Hansa Rostock
November 17th, 2008 / 20:15
Soccer - German 2.Bundesliga
Two teams in opposite sides of the table, two teams with Bundesliga history, and two teams that will face each other tonight in a game the home team is, in theory, a clear favorite. In 3rd place at the moment, K'Lautern still hasn't lost at home, and despite their recent slip-ups, this will only increase their effort in this game, to earn the much needed three points. At home, they score every 39 minutes and concede every 135... pretty impressive. Rostock, on the other hand, is still looking for their first away win. Currently 14th in the league, and with a 0-3-3 away record, they are the clear underdogs.
VictoriousPlay: Kaiserslautern (-0.5)
Odds: 1.88

OS Belenenses Lisbon vs. Academica de Coimbra
November 17th, 2008 / 20:45
Soccer - Portuguese Superliga
After an awful season start, Beleneses changed coach and the seem is now playing a better football, and grabbing some points. Academica is a very defensive team that will probably try to hold on for the draw, but this is a major chance for Beleneses to escape the relegation zone and conquer their first win in the league. The away team is coming from three straight league draws, three unders, and does not change their away style of play, that has proven effective. But this is the time for Beleneses confirm their rise of form and grab that long awaited first win.
VictoriousPlay: Belenenses (0,-0.5)
Odds: 1.84

Northampton Town FC vs. Leeds United AFC
November 17th, 2008 / 20:45
Soccer - English FA Cup
Just 10 days ago these two teams faced each other for the FA Cup and Northampton managed to squeeze out with a draw, despite playing with 10 men since the 26th minute. Now comes the replay, and will the home team be able to end what they started? Can they defeat favorite Leeds? Both teams are in the League One, and while Leeds is running for promotion, in 6th, Northampton is battling relegation in 16th. Playing at home and with 11 men, they will not have the same ultra-defensive display they had 10 days ago, and that just might give Leeds the change they need to go through to the next round.
VictoriousPlay: Leeds (+0)
Odds: 1.74

Also something even more interesting. When the soccer guru has a selection and the game ends in a tie, they don't count it as a loss. Just a tie.

My book counts it as a loss, and takes the money, but the guru counts it as a tie.

That is really not the way the life of a soccer bettor works, but the way touts work I guess.

The soccer guru always advice to play pk, or throw a small coin on the tie to cover the bet a bit. But I agree, thats not being legit.

I don't know who the soccer guru is but if he gives out winners than I don't think it's a bad thing. Just don't pay for it. Below is a link for all the action junkies. I track it last three days and the plays went 18-10. The picks seem to be pretty sharp. Best thing is that it's all for free.

Agree, and as expected.

The Soccer "Guru" did what I thought he would do.

This is the play he gave out yesterday.

the soccer guru

todays pick: Mali +105 (international friendly) 2 est

this play lost.

The "guru" has done this several times. If you added a bet on the tie, you would still have to count Mali +105 (international friendly) 2 est as a loss

:ohno:

2 different bets, only 1 got added to their record :nono5:
