The Indiana Fever (8-2) come into tonight's contest with a mental slip against the Phoenix Mercury last night. The Fever got killed on the fast break points 26-2, and it was their worst defensive performance of the season. Coach Brian Winters said that there was a possibility his team looked too far ahead for tonight's game, and that was the reason why they had a letdown at home. The team has yet to play a complete game with at least one bad quarter per game.

The Shock (7-0) were able to scrap out a victory against the struggling Connecticut Sun last night with veteran experience coming through in the last two minutes of the game. The champions from last year didn't play a clean game, committing 21 turnovers and their worst game of the season by far. Coach Bill Laimbeer told his team better clean it up for tonight's game if they were to pull out a victory tonight.

The game lost a little bit of its luster since the Fever were defeated last night, but I think it makes them more of a difficult opponent for the Shock to face. Detroit has played a spotty schedule so far, averaging about a game a week. Normally, a team with this much talent should be able to correct its mistakes for tonight's game, but I think the Shock will still struggle with their turnovers due to the inconsistent scheduling and playing time. A team can't play 100% clean basketball when it last played Sunday and then 2 games in the span of two weeks.

Indiana may have lost last night, but I think their concentration will be sharpened due to the letdown and the better on-court chemistry they have at the moment. Detroit's season is about to pick up, but the Fever are a team that has given fits to the Shock in the Palace of Auburn Hills. I expect the Fever to make a statement tonight, letting the Shock and Sun know they aren't the only Finals contenders in the East. I'd bite on the moneyline, but I'll take:

Fever +4 -110

to win 5 units at BetJamaica. Good Luck.

yes, i am not a service or tout. I bet for myself but feel like people need to hear other's thoughts in order to have any confidence in following a pick.

"Fever +4" wouldn't help at all.

I'm not saying negative about you. You asked, I answered. I don't make a lot of plays throughout the week, and those that are played deserve a writeup.

The hearts you post in the thread generated a banner in your post. Don't worry about it.

Good luck.

The hearts are kind of like MY "trademark". just me. and "NO NO NO" I was not questioning your integrity by any means what so ever. I have no time for foolishness. I am all about making money.NOTHING LESS!!!! I assure you that I am here to give advice just as much as recieve it. I definitely know that I have a whole lot to learn . I believe that when you you think you know it it all.....your very wrong. things change hourly in the world of sports and if you arnt on top of your game then you will lose and I hate to lose and to see others lose as well. If you have constructive criticism then that is good. If you have advice or knowledge....post it !!!! I read every ones thoughts on WNBA.

The reason that I asked was because the grammar was a little perfect!! LOL

a word of advice: " DONT PLAIGERIZE ON THIS FORUM OR YOU WILL BE RIDICULED AND THAT TAKES AWAY FROM YOUR HARD WORK. IF YOU DO TAKE SOMEONE ELSES WORDS , LET IT BE KNOWN . IT IS OKAY ....BUT NOT A GOOD IDEA TO PASS SOMEONE ELSES WORK OFF AS YOUR OWN. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND ALL WHO READ YOUR THREAD!!!

those were my thoughts. I understand your concern since we have a member who does that, but he is also in the tout business.

Thanks for the compliments, but I could write a nice novel and it would mean nothing if i lose my money.

Cheryl Ford's injury was a bonus. I'll be back when I feel I have a strong bet down. Congrats.

Nice win with the Fever. Mark it down that Detroit beats them easily in the rematch. Lay whatever the # is on Detroit & if they are getting points, laugh to the bank.

Thank you. I wholeheartedly agree. Detroit was completely out of synch from the get go due to Ford's absence. With her body in there, they would've definitely won the battle of the boards and the offense would've been smoother.
