we have almost double U.S. post up business than we had at this time last year......so im not so sure about this......it is somewhat dead for the net teller scalpers bonus guys...but for the "A" type customer you want..it is fine

Never thought of it like this. If there was a post in this thread that I was going to pay attention to this would be the one.

Books sorta have it like they want it. Lots of "one out players" to them the line is whatever their guy has it. softies.

As I stated for us hard core degenerates we will jump the hoops, some will throw in the towel as stated also in this thread.

But what is the future if generation X can't even get started?

Those that deposit and lose will never know but those that win and have to fax a fucking utility bill will throw in the towel sooner than later.

Thus the question should be what is the future state of the offshore industry?

not quite accurate.... a Square, who only has 1 shop, doesnt shop for lines, plays every sunday, they dont have to jump through many hoops at all, they simply need to make a deposit, play all season, then make a withdrawal. the bookies love these customers.

The sharps, who need 10 outs, need to shop, need to move money all they time, they are the ones who have to jump through all kinds of hoops.

So if you really think about it, in a way its a benefit to the books, as they "shake out" bonus whores, scalpers middlers and sharpies, but they probably continue to get deposits from the "average joe".

YOu adjust and move on. Not many books use Moneygram or WU, but the ones that still do will transfer you out to other books thankfully.

Direct Deposit works fine both ways at some shops too.

Offshore is too valuable of an out if you do this stuff seriously trying to suplement income or make this your only income.

I think its better than ever. From my point of view its been buisness as usual for quite some time now. No shortage of players whom are playing offshore. I have many clients playing out there no problem. So does everyone else. Most have multiple accounts. Nary a complaint from anyone.

A new generation comes onboard every year. For years on end now. Not one thing that has ever happened out there had any real effect on the services/sportsbook side. Always plenty of squares doing what they have to, to get down on there games and get money offshore.

If you add my operations 101 point of view about things as I am prone to do at times, then, its buisness as usual. Big Time.

Its only going to get better.

Now if these offshore books can put a little extra effort in expanding and improving their customer service departments, they can keep up with the growth of the offshore industry and then everyone will be a little more happier....

What happened to WSEX -no longer advertizing here? Lack of something. I don't play anymore, but this was a top 5 offshore on everyone's list for a long time.

Well, I will tell you what I know firsthand.

Know seven individuals that had a minimum $50,000(three with well over 100,000) offshore at any one time, including myself.

Four of those seven are completely out of offshore.

Two are using 2 or 3 outs with less than 25,000 exposed, and one probably still has at least six figures offshore with 6+ books.

If you consider using agents as being offshore, the above figures would increase SLIGHTLY.

I also know more than a handful that had small amounts offshore and ALL of them not participating in offshore sportsbetting at this time(not counting agent provided outs).

Staketarter---Giving the above, I was really surprised by your post. Not disputing it, just very surprised.

like i said we lost a large portion of business that we were better off losing......we dont need scalpers bonus whores and the likes........our type "A" customer base has increased and we are more profitable......do you really think us sportsbooks were crying when net teller blew a fuse and pinny left the market?

It depends on the book I would imagine.

As a bookmaker, I would have welcomed scalpers and middlers, however I know many that would be better off without them, like you stated.

I'm only betting on credit at this point. It's credit at some of the biggest books out there, but post up is dead.

What books out there would anyone post up 5 figures at now of days from the US? Cris and thats about it. Maybe Heritage, but now they are gonna have a spotlight shined on them. Other than that, no one?

Two years ago, I knew two people with six figures offshore. I now know none.
