Coulter would be prasing Stephen Colbert for his performance over the weekend ...

Sean Hannity would be attacking Bush and the "failed mission" in Iraq ....

Limbaugh would be ranting how no President is "above the law" and illegal
"wiretaps" are going after our privacy as American citizens ...

Frist would be shouting that the Illegal Immigrants are no concern for Bush since he is making that issue political ..

Cheney would be yapping that Bush owes an apology to the American families who have buried kids from a war he obviously used lies to invade Iraq ...

FOX News would run continously polls regarding Impeachment of Bush

Hey we always mention how many soldiers perish. But do we ever
think about how many come back w/o arms or legs? Living life
w/o your limbs is extremely difficult and should be mentioned and
acknowledged. Please tell me you agree Doc?

Gynecologist: HELL YEAH!!

The admin does not talk about the effects on DU on our kids and the civilians in Iraq .. look at the large number deathly sick from the first Gulf war and the number of kids born with defects from that crap

Look at the shitty way we treated our kids from Vietnam .. no excuse and when I hear all these chickenhawks scream, "tough shit .. they knew this was the chance when they enlisted" I want to puke as it is one thing to enlist and another thing to have a CIC who went AWOL blowing off all sound military advice

Look at Cheneys comments in May of 92 about Hussein and Iraq??? Not worth losing American lives back then .. hell, if they wanted to remove the guy give the Mosad 50 million and they would have taken him out

Serving this country in combat??? Well, based on the lies spread about McCain, Cleland, Kerry and Murtha from the Right since 2000 it doesnt appear they give a shit about who really lives or dies as long as they toe the line and help spread lies from Karl Rove and company

I've heard a lot of that crap over the past few years both in person here in Austin and onsite at difft chat rooms ....

Leave the kids alone and bring em home .. flappin 300 billion and nothing has changed as Iraq is gonna be run by the 3 religious sectors under Islamic Rule and now I see where Iran is getting it on with the Kurds in the Northern part of this country

Once Bush starts bombing Iran all bets are off regarding the body count for this country coming out of Iraq

The thing is...both Houses are run by the Republicans, as well as the Presidency.

So is life rosy and sweet? are we living in a Republican eutopia? Or are we caught in a living nightmare ?

Thats why Bill Clinton was regarded as a superhero.
The guy made things ok, something that they still haven't managed during the entire Bush Presidency.

Chief:

My stance has never wavered since day one ...I have said over and over that Iraq is just the tip of the Wahhabism snake we are fighting and too many questions that Bush and company wanted to cover up to make one realize that something indeed does smell ... this mission has been a complete failure and time to suck it up and realize nothing has been accomplished and the Bush Legacy of "Democracy Spreading" ranks right up there with Bro Neils career at Silverado

I quote "The Hammer" DeLay who said this regarding troops in action under Bill Clinton:

I SUPPORT THE TROOPS ...I DONT SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT

I don't doubt that you haven't changed your stance on this war. I just wonder if you would have been against it if a democrat would have been the one that sent us into this mess. Just a thought.

I voted for Bush in 88 ... I voted for Clinton both times

I had NO CHOICE but to vote against Junior both times

What does that have to do with anything??? WE ARE TALKING AMERICAN SOLDIERS whose asses have been lied to and really tired of the defense of this CIC

Bush is a nitemare ..... our kids in Iraq dont deserve this and to hear folks like yourself say Colbert was out of line for speaking the truth is interesting since Bush used that same platform to joke about WMD's and the Righties actually found that cute ????

God, the GOP is one fucked up party right now

I agree but the democrats aren't any better. They are both a total joke. I'm probably voting for a libertarian next time.

Doc,

Sorry to ask this in your thread. I choose to stay out of the whole political scenario as I get totally disgusted. My vote does count, but to worry daily about the government would drive me crazy.

My question is about Colin Powell. What did or do you think of him? I have always considered him and honest man. Thus why he left this administration. I only would like a little inside info from you on him as I know you keep up on that enviornment.

Thanks,

Powell ...I saw an interview w/him and you could tell how upset he was to have lied in front of the UN. He mentioned that Leaders dont lead their kids into harms way and it has not set well with him

I dont think Powell will ever run due to the bullshit of Politics .. he screwed up with speech and I saw the hurt in his heart

I think his day has passed and I am hoping that maybe a Feingold/Clark ticket is an option for this country as Feingold has balls and Clark can cut thru the scare tactics that defines selling candidates

Let Powell have a nice retirement ... the speech was only a small part of his career and that aspect is why I get very troubled when folks defend Bush over what are obvious lies to invade Iraq

If Bush were a democrat, he'd have a single digit job approval rating. To suggest that he'd have support from those that currently disapprove of him is beyond moronic.

Doc,

Being from Wisconsin I know all about Fiengold. He is a man who stands by his convictions and does not waver to party lines. I just hope it is not a setup for running in the next election. Met him several times and seems sincere, as most do, but something about him makes me think he is different.
