Anyone remember the days when Wazzu was winning 10 games a year? Jason Gesser throwing bombs to Michael Bush and Jerome Riley? Or the defense going into Eugene and dominating a top 10 ranked Oregon team (I think they were in '03). Seems just like yesterday.

It is a sorry state of affairs for WSU right now, and unfortunately it will not get better for a few years.

The impetus was a reach in recruiting after the 10 win seasons. They went after the 4-5 star kids and ended up finishing 2nd on them. They forgot about the 2-3 star guys that they got there with. Those guys ended up at schools like Boise st. Wsu then had to settle for talented but stupid. For 3 years over a 1/3 of those recruiting classes didn't make it in due to grades issues. The other ones that did have been bad behavers.

Addict at least you have a decent bball team and a great coach there.

Ducks are you on Oregon this week? I have faded WSU ever since week one thanks to you and Conan talking about how bad they were going to be all summer. 30 points seems like a lot but obviously any decent offense can put up 50 on these guys no problem.

The Beavers beat Hawaii 45-7 at Reser and Hawaii is a much better team than Wazzou. Hawaii caught them right after that horrible loss at PSU which seemed to focus the Beavers very well afterwards. Now they blow a game at Utah and I think they'll be just as pissed off and try to right things again.
