Tootight, you are posting as if I made posts that Ohio Univ. is or has been since I've been betting, a better overall team than Ohio St.

You are trying to compare a yugo to a supposed Lexus. Ohio U was a 4-8 mac team last year, 41-65 this decade, and was blown out in the ONLY bowl game appearance they've made the past 40 years. Ohio State is in top 10 most years, 54-8 this decade at home and 91-23 this decade...they even call themselves THE Ohio State University. LOL

What I am posting is that OSU did not impress me when the two teams played last year.

What I am posting, is that OSU the past couple years, hasn't looked as strong as they should have against some very weak opponents.

Also what I am posting is that OSU, regarding overall team talent, isn't as strong as teams they've had throughout this decade.

Thus, I think all this talk about OSU being able to walk through their b10 schedule is ridiculous. Similar thoughts about PSU although I like their schedule more than OSU. However, it seems that most of the cheerleading in this thread has been about OSU.

Bigtendominator has posted his thoughts and said he did or will bet it, but who who else here bet OSU to win the b10 at +150 at greek and/or +165 at 5dimes?

edit: ***

fwiw, in case anyone else is going to bet illinois to win b10, 5dimes last night Illinois was at +875 and today is still offering +750 to win b10.

Are you getting me confused with someone else? I'm not saying anything about Ohio University. You asked if OSU could have beaten Oklahoma in any of the past few seasons and my answer was yes, hypothetically there is no evidence that they couldn't have beaten them. If you would have asked if they could of beat USC or Florida, my answer would be a quick NO. I think OU (Oklahoma) and OSU have been spitting images of one another over the last 10 years.

I agree that OSU should have blown out Ohio U. and the fact that they have not beat them by 40+ points doesn't make them look good. I also agree they won't march through the Big 10 and only be challenged by Penn St. I feel Ohio St. could easily loose 2 Big 10 games this year and be in more than 2 dog fights.

As far as what kind of overall program Ohio St is and looking at their accomplishments and downfalls over the last 10 years, I feel they are no doubt one of the elite programs in the country along with the likes of Texas, USC, Florida, LSU, and Oklahoma.

TT, yes it seems I misread your post.

However, we will have to agree to disagree that Ohio State would not have beaten Oklahoma...especially the 2008 versions of the teams.

Ohio State and the entire b10 imo has been clearly been inferior at one position for at least the past few years...DEFENSIVE LINE!

I'll defer further arguing that topic to the b12 guys here if they care to debate/discuss.

Agree with OSU vs OU 2008.

Also, agree with you DT position as well. However, I understand the similiarity that Tootight was drawing.
