Didn't go through the whole thread.........i think this is probably because the public favors favorites and dogs cover more often than not in bowl games.....Teams people don't know about.different conferences facing each other...on a neutral field.....favors dogs .because more than ever they jack up the favoites and it is on a neutral field with two reasonably matchred teams. And the underdog is often more happy to be there

Be careful with that thought process. Low favorites typically cover and so do the favs from Jan. 1 on.

If I remember correctly...and this is based strictly on my memory at the moment...started like 8-0 then ended like 1-8. BUT! Still hoping for A&Fs insight. First thing that's brought me to this sub forum since the thread last year.
