If you pay or have paid taxes, you should vote.

everyone should pay something. even if it is $1.

What would really happen if it tips to the point where there are more takers?

Could this happen in our lifetime?

[h=2]Gifts to the United States Government[/h]How do I make a contribution to the U.S. government?
Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called "Gifts to the United States." This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs. These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government. Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below.

Im willing to bet that more people who lean to the right often donate more $$ to charity.

I could be wrong, but it seems the left is always screaming for other peoples money to spend, but have a hard time giving up their own.

If Im wrong about this,, and someone proves it, Ill post an apology.

But, Im just assuming from past experiences and from what I hear/read from those on the left.

I already showed you how dumb that argument is. You're money does nothing except pay down national debt. It goes to no additional programs. also left wingers like myself who believe in higher taxes don't just Believe in higher taxes for no reason. We believe in higher taxes for a reason.
Higher taxes for single payer health care. Universal college or technical school tuition. Extended social services like unemployment social security. Could go on and on.
youre argument is so easy to rebut
We would pay these programs with a more progressive income tax with the top 1 percent paying much higher rates than they do currently

You didn't 'show' anything.

You are a silly, lying hypocrite.

I love how it never occurs to you that if the debt were lower, the service on the debt would be lower thus freeing up more $ for programs that you claim to support.

Anyway, your political views are formed by comical ignorance. The best was when you claimed taxes don't pay for programs, instead they are paid for by appropriations.
