I just wanted to say thank you to the people that private messaged me about the situation regarding asudevil88. I apologize that he clustered my thread with stupid homer messages, but I ask you all to keep from attacking him in my thread. I do not need the bad attention caused my way at such a wonderful site.

Yes, I agree that asudevil is probably a 40 year old man that has lost his childs college education on gambling and is now stuck tailing plays from BigBookie and GoSooners in hopes that he can get some of it back. Yes, I understand that probably this man has lost so much money over the past that he is scared to comment on any team that he does not get "inside" information about at the tailgate from his buddies that sit around local ASU bars starring at 18 year old girls listening to the latest news about the team coming out of the Omega house.

I apologize that this guy seeks some sort of attention regarding the Devils by making them part of his screen name so he doesnt appear to be anything more than a mush looking to tail people but keep his credibility up by tossing in off comments about an ASU game and hoping his screen name carrys some weight. I dont want issues with this man, so lets just hope he leaves my threads alone and goes back to cleaning his moms basement so she doesnt charge him $400 next month for rent. Thanks again for the concerns and good luck this weekend.

This is the kind of bullshit we was talking about...how you make stuff up. All asudevil88 did was bring up the point that your reasoning behind the Georgia-ASU pick was flawed. No problem with picking Georgia, but don't come up with bs reasons (as in the indoor dome being down when they practiced there a total of two times or coming up with highly inflated crowd numbers from Georgia). At no point did asudevil88 insult your or anything.

BTW as for "ASU has laid eggs in big games like this for years"....When LSU played in Tempe several years ago as I think #3 in the nation, ASU took them right down to the wire and only lost in the last minutes 35-31. #12 Iowa got demolished when they played there in 04 44-7, and of course #1 Nebraska that hadn't lost a single game in the last two seasons prior lost there 19-0 in the 90s.

Thats a great point. Its a smart comparison to compare the Iowa program to Georgia. Very smart.

Also, its not like LSU had just been crushed by Katrina the week BEFORE that game happened and the LSU team was more concerned if their family was dying in the Superdome.

Those are two spot on comparisons.

Also, about the dome. This is the last thing I will say regarding that.

The facility, which came with a price tag of more than 8 million dollars, obviously got very limited use from the facility. They held their first practice there just 25 days ago. As it turns out, for 8 million dollars, ASU got 8 practices out of the deal.
http://azsportshub.com/2008/08/29/devil-dome-now-a-pile-of-plastic/

ASUDevil was right in the fact that they had used it only twice during the preseason, but they had used it six times in the two weeks of the regular season before it blew down.

Also, my numbers might have been a bit inflated regarding the fan size, but all estimations I have seen online say that about 20,000 tickets will be in possession of Georgia fans. With a stadium that holds 70,000, you are looking at a 30% Georgia crowd. Considering that most fans at ASU games are about 70 years old, it should sound about 50%.

ASU's ticket office started receiving quite a few calls from the Peach State after Georgia fans published their ticket research on Internet message boards and blogs.

"There's no secret that they're creative, and they've found a way to buy tickets," said Jason Bunger, ASU director of ticket operations.

Bunger did not know the number of season tickets Georgia fans had purchased but said they could return unused tickets for donations to local charities.

Many Georgia fans will be taking advantage of their trip to the West by planning extended excursions with side trips to the Grand Canyon or Las Vegas.

"We have a very savvy group of football fans," said Alan Thomas, UGA associate athletic director for external affairs. "A lot of folks have turned this into a football vacation."

Georgia fan Stephen Conatser of Athens, Ga., is definitely not going to miss this game.

Conatser, 36, has missed only two Georgia football games, home or away, in 17 years.

"I personally know about 50 people that are going, and that's a conservative estimate," he said.

Putting a number on the Bulldog contingency is difficult, but ASU fans should expect upwards of 10,000, at least.

Keep in mind, this was only written in June. Also, StubHub listed this game as the 3rd most popular ticket right now. And Im pretty sure those arnt ASU fans buying the tickets.

Look douche bag, I was done with you and your thread. However, you decided to bring more useless shit up. So you had a couple of buddies from your circle jerk pm you about me. Boo hoo for me. You’ve completely ruined my day.
<o:p> </o:p>
Once again my point was that if you are going to cap a game, bring valid and useful info to the analysis. I don’t give three shits whether you are on ASU or not. I really don’t care. But, you saying that everyone taking ASU were idiots is where you crossed the line. Many other good and respected cappers on here are on ASU. Are they all idiots? If you want to be taken seriously, why disrespect the guys on the other side of you? Or are you that good that everyone should bow down to you and take your side?
<o:p> </o:p>
I’ve noticed in your threads that every time someone takes the opposite side or makes a counter to your point, you mock them or try to invalidate what they are saying. Again, are you that good that you can’t ever be wrong?
<o:p> </o:p>
Your “guess” in regards to me couldn’t be any further from the truth, but if that’s what you need to think to make you feel better about your life, then go ahead. I won’t lose any sleep knowing some guy on the internet and a couple of his buddies don’t think too highly of me.
<o:p> </o:p>
I graduated from ASU. Like many on this site, I use that as part of my screen name. I’m proud of being alumni.
<o:p> </o:p>
I don’t seek attention; I leave that to guys like you who appear to crave that sort of thing.
<o:p> </o:p>
Have a nice day.

LSU came to ASU a week after their entire city was flooded. People lost homes. They were worried about family members. LSU came in to that game about emotionally down as you could get and they STILL came back and beat ASU. Don't even bring that game up. It was a total farce..

Under coach Mark Richt the Georgia Bulldogs are an impressive 26-4 on the road. That's an 87 percent winning percentage. To go to an opponent’s home field and win 87 percent of the time is an incredible number.

Arizona State has also been impressive at home. I'm sure they will be looking to avenge their loss to UNLV. UNLV had lost an incredible 21 of 22 on the road before Saturday. That's not a bad loss for ASU—that is a devastating loss.

ASU may have been looking ahead, but that fact will help them little when the Dawgs roll into town this week.

DALLAS -- A YouTube video from a charity flag football game in July has Dallas Mavericks' forward Josh Howard embroiled in controversy yet again.

The video, from Allen Iverson's event, shows Howard, as the national anthem is being sung, saying: "'The Star-Spangled Banner' is going on. I don't celebrate this [expletive]. I'm black." Howard also makes a hard-to-hear reference to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama

I wonder if he could make $15,000,000 a year in Angola for playing basketball. I hope he goes and lets me know how it turns out.
