"All life is suffering" is one of the four noble truths supposedly uttered by the buddah. Suffering iscaused by desire according to buddah. He prooosed a way to get off the seemingly endless wheel of suffering, life and death.
By Killing Desire, I would reckon.
Seems like a pretty big "simplification" as though the answer, the path to eradicating misery would be a tad bit more complex than just that but perhaps not. Maybe thats the main problem: we overcomplicate things.
If I, we were to succeed in overcoming Desire anyway, how would that lend to preventing Monsters such as this? How would it eliminate the suffering caused by Madmen?
I'm interested in eradication of that or at least lessening it as much as possible. Rather than a focus on my own personal suffering.
That I know is related as you say to Desire. I understand that. So Buddha saying All Life is Suffering was NOT a suggestion that the physical world has to be a brutal vicious place? Because thats what Life is, like, thats a necessary and undivorceable part of Life?
Suffering?
