General, I can say that outside of the three months I spent at SDB, I have been lucky enough to not enocounter such an attitude face to face...
Johnny, not this but last football season...we had a group of about 5 guys that were absolutely tearing us apart in both college and pro football.... It was intriguing and it went on for several months.... They all knew each other so some of their betting was very similar... I called up several friends of mine that work at books to see if they had anything similar or if the action corresponded to a specific group but nothing came up. They were being reckless about it, betting even first and second halves.... The percentage they were hitting was absurd. After both seasons ended they disappeared.....

Slim, why do so many books give you the runaround when you want too withdraw YOUR money. They act like it is there money.

Regarding holding money.....I understand what you're saying, believe me, no one is more pissed off when it comes to seeing people get ripped off...Ive seen both customers as well as employees ripped off and it angers me. As long as I have a say in anything I'll always try to work things out in favor of a customer....

Intruder, I dont think any one way or style of betting will win in the longrun....If you play for an extended period of time you will go down, period. You can be as sharp as you want, if you do it long enough, you're going to end up losing. You're only a sharp player if you take your winnings and go home..Fortunately thats next to impossible.....

I have never read such utter rubbish, i work both sides of the counter, longterm i expect to win booking and betting personally be it one year or 20 years....

I couldn't agree with you more Slim. Most of the bookies here are the biggest jerk offs in the country. They think because they own a book, they are like CEO of Disney.

Most Ive ever seen paid out? From a cash customer, I saw a payout being processed for like 250k. Credit customers are a whole different story though and some of the figures Ive seen I dont even believe....
Celebrities that I remember right off the bat, Jaromir Jagr and David Hasselhoff (sp)...or whatever his name is...
