Hey I didn't mean it as a personal attack. Was just using sarcasm like how you were sarcastic in your post. Oh and once again I don't know why people think I'm an Obama lover. The middle class shrinking goes back way before Obama though. There is just endless policies that only cater to the wealthy and powerful in this country.

I'm not sure how you think the people are empowered by growing the federal government. We have had many socialist nations over the years, there's a long documented history, and socialism fails. It does not produce the wealth this nation has produced. The standard of living for our middle class and our poor is unsurpassed.

JFK said it best, an analogy everyone can relate to, "a rising tide raises all boats". It's all about economic growth and empowering free business and free people. It's about ambition, not some we're all the same mentality. Regulations and higher taxes and income redistribution stunts economic growth, something that's very easy to observe in recent years.

I'll conclude by saying you're belief system with respect to the federal government is the polar opposite of where the founding fathers wanted to go.

he didn't start WWII, he wasn't responsible for Germany's military buildup. He just called it for what is was while others naively hoped for a different result

as far as WWII it was his decision to carpet bomb Germany that led to Hitler's barrage of anything and everything in Britain. Before then Hitler was going after manufacturing plants and military installations only

In the insane modern era of political correctness, 'race' is a loaded word.

Maybe the middle class is shrinking because the government has made it so dependent on the government. Not me, nor my friends. That's is my point. Work...... Get the fuck up and work. I worked for US Steel for 17 years. I quit and went on my own. Did I have good job? Hell yes. Wasn't enough for me. I wanted more. When life gets tough, get tougher. This country has lost focus. There are jobs, there always have been. Have you ever worked more than 100 hours a week? Would you?

I care more about what a soldier thinks about Politics, and how a guy came to his senses and finally voted his own pocketbook, more than what a ditz like Angelina Jolie thinks. But I'm a sane, rational person, who actually thinks about things, not a clueless partisan hack like you who is predictable EVERY single time, the definition of Pavlov's dog.

No that is completely false. Middle income jobs have been going bye bye since the late sixties intro the 70s. Your whole premise is insane. I'm an operating engineer so yes I know what hard work is like. But suggesting that people should be forced to work 50 + hours or even 100 like you said to live comfortably is beyond belief. We are human beings. We all deserve to live comfortably. We all deserve to have health care provided. It's not based on willingness to work. That whole argument is a myth and with time I could prove it with statistics if you would really care to have a civil debate about it
