This thing of measuring how great a qb is by rings is stupid in football. Do it all day in basketball but not football. Marino, Jim Kelley, Peyton, and Brees have less rings than Trent Dilfer, Doug Williams, and Russell Wilson.

Football's great but your life is more important. Peyton has earned more money than he can ever spend. He has a seat waiting for him on Fox, ESPN or CBS.

Yup.......hes made some very wise investments, money for him & his family will never be a problem. He definitely will be a commentator while doing commercials for another 10 or so years.

I can't see Eli being a commentator tho with that confused look on his face.

Jim Kelly is the greatest loser in the history of the NFL.
Like any sport it's all about the rings.
He was an awesome qb, but just couldn't get over the top.
He did run one very potent offense.

Bills had one of the best playoff records of all time besides the super bowl games......this yesm would destroy teams in the playoffs & lose in the main event......

Poor Jim Kelly....He was on ESPN yesterday talking about his 4 SB losses...LOL....I felt sorry for the guy.

He has cancer hope he beats it.....Looked very thin.

Yeah, sad that he's going thru cancer......if I'm not mistaken, I believe his son has a disease as well.

We can have all the money & success in the world, but w/o good health, that money & success doesn't mean much in the scheme of things.

Great players usually don't become great coaches. He has commentator written all over him. All of the networks will get in a bidding war for him. Peyton as a coach oddly enough would remind me of Spurrier when he was at Florida. Basically Spurrier would look at the defense, send the play/ audible in. Then if the qb didn't do it the way he wanted it, he would get all pissed off. Peyton would be thinking, throw it to X, qb tries to throw to Y and it gets picked. Then he throws up his hands and shakes his head just like he does if he throws a pick. Hahaha
