I am the best player in tourneys and good in money games in our group, but I end up losing it all to the same guy head's up. Any books or articles to recommend.

Read Skansky's chapter on heads up in Advanced Holdem. It helped me tons.

yep

heads up is 100% different than playing 10-handed.

The relative strength of your starting hands is totally different

Sklansky's chapter is a great starting point

beeing aggressive is the key. You should be raising almost all the time preflop and betting out on the turn no matter what two cards you have. Remember that people only hit a piece of the flop about 30 percent of the time. Yes, its risky when your opponent hits a hand, but its better then being passive and getting blinded out.

This also means that if you are first to act after the flop, you could take down the pot more often than not if you just put out a bet. Being this aggressive also has the advantage of frustrating your opponent and getting him off of his game.

what i always do is raise minimum preflop....when i am in SB/button.......then on the flop always fire a bullet 3/4 of the pot.....then on the turn make ur decision if he got a piece or was drawing or if he is just being an idiot....you'd be surprised how many times you are going to take down the pot on the flop.....
