I would have to say it is a toss up between the UN and the citizens of the United States for who killed the most children world wide. If you are an overweight US citizen please read the following:
Every day, 40,000 infants die of malnutrition.
200 million children under the age of five suffer from malnutrition.
1.2 million Iraqi people, including 750,000 children below the age of five, have died due to the scarcity of food and medicine, since the commencement of UN sanctions in 1990. (that is over 7 children dying every hour for the last 12 years)
In 1998, the global starvation rate among children reached its 600 year peak.
Up to one-fifth of America's food goes to waste each year, with an estimated 130 pounds of food per person ending up in landfills. The annual value of this lost food is estimated at around $31 billion. Roughly 49 million people could be fed by those lost resources, more than twice the number of people in the world who die of starvation each year.
The US military has a lot of killing to do to catch up with Fat Americans.
Here are some other notable facts:
In 1997 the U.S.A carried out 74 executions - the highest number for four decades. Only China, Saudi Arabia and Iran were known to have executed more prisoners.
During the Gulf War, the United States suffered 148 soldiers killed in action, and 458 wounded. The U.S. estimated that more than 100,000 Iraqi soldiers died, 300,000 were wounded, 150,000 deserted, and 60,000 were taken prisoner.
On average, 147 of every 1,000 African children die before the age of 5.
Malaria, acute respiratory infections and diarrhea, illnesses that are largely preventable, cause 11 million childhood deaths annually.

3000 people were killed on 9/11 and we act like that is the greatest crime ever committed in the history of the world. By the end of this war we will have killed well over 3000 Iraqi civilians ( not to mention the millions of innocent civilians our country has already killed in the last 60 years ), and they make such ignorant comments as "Oh Well". It is just proof that there are cold hearted murderers EVERYWHERE, not just in Arab countries as these war supporters seem to believe.
