Not sure if this is true or 100% false but wanted to share.
Weeks 1-4 - ALL teams will play out of conference games (afc vs nfc)
Weeks 5-6- Teams play equal place conference games (if u finished 1st in your division last season, u play the other 2 teams that finished 1st in your conference last year. I know that there is a 3rd team as well that finished 1st but we'll get to that in a bit)
Week 7-10 - divisional games and bye weeks
Week 11-14- Inter conference games (every year, you always play each team in 1 division. That is that "3rd team" from week 5-6 i was talking about
Week 15-17 - divisional games.
That way if for some reason we play a 12 or 14 game schedule, we eliminate weeks 1-4 the "non conference games".
