Can't do that tonight J~Man. I totally screwed Judge over last night by him thinking I was bound to hit and riding my plays.....Unless, of course, he was just saying that, and actually faded me instead.....

if your system works in the long run stick to it. i've won 10 or 12 in a row and lost 10 or 12 in a row. that is not unusual per 1000 wagers. good luck!

I feel your pain. In other words -I once did that . Now--I use a completely different system of doubling up.
7 days in a week. Monday--Only dogs or only favorites. Tues--Vice versa. Wed--Only home or away teams Thurs--away or home switch. Friday--Only teams with animals in their nicknames. (Cubs Tigers Orioles, etc) Sat--Only teams without animals in their nicknames.) Sunday--I count up and figure out how the plays should be made for the following week. Unless--it's the NFL season and then--I start another can't loose system.
Easy does it !!!

7 losses LMFAO
Is that all?

I make thousands of bets every year and 7 losses happens on a regular basis.

A great capper who can win at 55% will lose 7 straight 1.5% of the time.

Hachey, you should start posting at Peep's Place. I won't put the link because I'm sure it would get zapped, but you're a smart guy. You can find your way.

If you join, I'll start a special suicide parlay thread in your honor. I'm only 0-12 so far with those. This will be lucky 13!

By the way, you're going to have to supply me with the bankroll for the bet.

If your confidence is wavering, cut back on the # of plays (only play the ones you feel strongest about), and play half or less of your normal wager size.

Lurker,

How do you arrive at this figure?
Is there a formula?
Over how many plays?

Dude take it easy and take a few days off so you don't start chasing. I've been gambling for 30 years and this always happens from time to time. I had my biggest year ever in college football last year and I can remember going 2-11 on consecutive Saturdays, but I didn't panic and I didn't chase. It will turn it always does. The best gamblers in the world only hit 55% or there about.

Through all the years Ive been wagering on sports, I've seen people talk about it, or simply seen their plays posted, lose and lose, until the streak has reached 6, 7, and sometimes more than 10, losses in a row. I always thought to myself, "How could that happen to anyone at all that knows anything about the specific sports they are betting on?Heck, even if you don't know a thing about sports, if you basically flipped a coin and chose a side, surely you wouldn't lose this many in a row." Well, it's happened to me, in the span of the last 3 nights, and I'm completly baffled and now second guessing every wager I make! Ok, I know some of you have been here, so tell me what I need to do to get my head straight again and not be afraid to pull the trigger on a side without changing it at least once before reaching a final decision, and get back to the winning ways............

You must be an incredible gambler. I have lost 9 in a row more times than i would like to count.

hacheman, i just noticed this post. trust me brother even the great ones lose 9 in a row. there is a cat named tony diamond who is a consistent winner year in and year out and he once lost 27 in a row; they still talk about the statistical probabilities of that feat at unlv.

im not really someone to offer any advice as sometimes i have 35 bets on a busy saturday and i dont even blink if i lose the first seven as its part of the biz.

if you are a long time net winner dont change a thing. i dont advise to take any time off either unless your confidence is completely rocked and it is causing you to make bad decisions than it might be a good idea.

ive always believed you have to gamble everyday as you might be in the middle of the greatest winning streak but you dont even know it.

the best nba capper over the last few years has lost 9 in a row twice this year yet he continually grinds out profits every year. it would be nice to know when we should press or take a few days off but nobody does.

keep pluggin and when all is said and done im sure you will be smilin.

Thanks Caeaser.Had another 4-1 night, going 8-2 last 2 days, so it seems to have turned back around.

Not sure if you noticed earlier in the thread, but the losing streak had gone to 10.

I feel really strange now when others have said that losing 7 staight is a walk in the park. As I said before, it just simply never happened, and that's why I always thought someone that lost that many in a row either had to be on an unbelievable unlucky streak, or just that bad of a capper! Turns out, after reading all of these responses, that basically, I just simply must have been one lucky son~of~a~gun all of this time. Based on what I've read from some of you, even if your a good capper, your still bound to lose several in a row. Well, now that it's said and done though, the losing streak will be more difficult to break now that it reached 10 before it was over, and now I wont feel so bad when I lose 6 or 7 in a row.........Yeah Right!

Exactly Caeser!

You just cant TAKE A DAY OFF in this business if your in this for a living........unless your concentrations are on just one or two sports.

You may miss a golden oppurtunity........and you need to snatch those up.
