I love and hate this place

Stewie. All these years posting here and the fat guy dosen't know you are a star here. I'm waiting for Brian to start posting too. But seriously, you did a great job of saying what we all are thinking and I thank you for posting what needed to be said. What makes this thread special is that 90% of the posts are from us old timers who have seen the good and lately the bad. Over the years we have seen so many great guys who gave everyone mostly winners leave because when they hit a bad streak, like we all do at times, they get crap written about them. I wish the Mods would not be afraid to ban the trouble makers that are so easy to ID.

I think the real reason is all the kiddies who have no idea who to bet on and just want action. Most of the time they are getting free winners but when someone good hits that short bad streak, the kiddies lose their bets and now they are poorer and mad because they lost. They take it out on the posters who have been giving them more winners than losers, when they should be mad at themselves for betting money with no idea how to bet.

Thanks for having the balls to post in this thread. You can tell by the replies that we all respect your thinking.

Long time lurker.Seen a lot of good cappers leave due to all the BS. Do you know how hard it is to get 50+% winners? That's why Vegas is still there. I for one like stats,weather etc., and different views posted on here.
But in the end I don't think things will change.You have to be tuff skinned to say anything in hear. Best of Luck.

I posted this yesterday in Buddy Lou's Total Play. Just my thoughts from an old timer who also thinks this is a great site, but could be better if we lost a few individuals that seem to want to swim uphill and against the current or for some reason need attention.

I hate to say anything but think this is all my fault as I have played probably 5 or 6 (I'm guessing) of his big totals and have been beaten on all of them. After saying that, I do like his confidence in his picks and I applaud his tenacity in staying on target (totals). The one factor that seems to elude most here is it is MY decision to either join him, go against him, or leave it alone. So far, no one has ever stepped up to the plate and said, ODee I will make that bet for you and pay if you lose. Can you believe that, not one guy here. So my dilemma seems to be, who is to blame for this loss. Certainly not Buddy, certainly not that busybody Inka something, even though he is 100% right on one thing, he is a lot of Member's worst nightmare. So I guess it comes right back to me, sorry everyone because if I don't play that game it might have been a winner. Bigger problem is when Buddy comes out with another total with high expectations, I will without a doubt be right by his side at the window, trying to win but knowing there is a chance I might lose also. My choice and only mine. Don't say much here but this is getting way out of line. If you didn't initiate the thread, you have no right to say anything negative, you have every right to show support. Mods job would be a lot easier and we wouldn't have these worthless cat fights all over the place.
