I said in BCN's case they werent trying to scam I thought it was a misuse of the word. A scam is if someone keeps your money.

In BOS's case, I said I was curious to hear a statement, and here is a thread to look at.

He works hard every day to make this site better, and I am glad to have him. Moderator or not he is entitled to his own opinion on any issue, just as you are, I have no problem letting him post his feelings about any subject, and will not try to influence how he posts. Just because he is a mod here doesn't make him subject to any kind of posting protocol, this is a discussion forum, and Rob and the rest of the mod team are part of that discussion.

I agree....if Robfunk is allowed his opinions without implicit or explicit name calling, which Sherman has done above somewhere between implicitly and explicitly....then does Sherman not get to voice his opinion without implicit name calling (which wilheim has done.) BUT THEN, doesn't wilheim get to voice his opinion (obviously and implicitly that sherman has no ground to stand upon and call another 'groundless' if you get my drift) without anyone calling him implicitly or explicitly a crazy maniac...which no one has actually done yet. Through all of this, no one has called wilheim anything in any fashion....which is good.

wilheim, I am glad you defend a fellow mod...no problem. However, I disagree. Sherman is a fine poster...he is Sherman. That's all. You may not like Sherman...but Sherman is. NOW, I disagree with wilheim's assessment as I believe that Sherman does and can call Rob an idiot at times (I don't necessarily agree) without having to write his thesis all over again. Sherman needn't be called out, but what is humorous is that wilheim shouldn't be called out for voicing his defense of Robfunk. Ah...a paradox.
