He is making a farce out of the election process.

I am not saying that just because someone is an actor they shouldnt be allowed to run for office. I just dont think they should use their fame as a crutch. This guy wont even take a stand on any real issue. All I have heard him say is that he wants to repeal the license rules that Gray Davis has recently loosened. That is not taking a stand. If he wants to win the election, he should put his positions out there and let the voters make an informed decision, instead of just trying to win on his fame.

The sad thing about it is that he will probably win. Never underestimate Americans obsession with famous people. Last month Tom Green came to my town and these fools were acting like he was Jesus Christ. There were pictures of it in the paper and he appeared briefly on campus. People were looking up to him with awe. It is quite sickening really.
