I hate all Boston teams in all sports (respect Tatum and Brown and the Celtics coaching though) but I am loving what is happening to the Nets.
Kevin Durant is the most thin skinned biggest bitch and snake in sports and he was acting hot and flying high piggybacking Curry and the Warriors. (what a bitch move leaving the Thunder for the team that just took him out of the playoffs lol) Now look at him. I know they are all over him but that's not excuse if you are one of the best basketball players on the planet right now...
Which leads me to the biggest culprit...the clown that is Steve Nash. LOL. He has no business coaching and has not adjusted one iota for the game plan against Durant. Pathetic. He looks like a lost moron out there. Absolutely clueless.
And then sadly Kyle Irving. Boy, I really can pick em. He used to be one of my favorites. One of the most electrifying players on offense that can finish at the basket. Then the nonsense about the flat earth started and the COVID bs and fitting that it's the Celtics that are beating him down.
This is an embarrassment.
Having said that! I'm SO tempted to take the Nets tonight lol. I think they win one game in the series. Tatum goes a little cold after being red hot and the role players go even colder. Durant finally shows some signs of life and figures out a way to produce despite the onslaught of defense against him. Irving goes off. Seth and the other role places hit some timely threes...next thing you know Nets looking pretty good.
But damn this Celtics team is good. I posted here early in the NBA Season that the Celtics are a team to watch out for and they can even beat the Miami Heat...Look at them now. Look solid.
I really don't want to do this but I'll bite and put a medium play on the Nets.
Robert Williams, Tatum And Brown with their long reach and excellent movement, Marcus Smart pesky af..this Celtics team is lethal on defense. Absolutely suffocating.
No reason for this bet to win, but I'll bite. If Celtics sweep. I won't be shocked.
If Durant has any pride in him whatsoever he will show up. Tatum is younger, faster and stronger. With his long reach, he is making life hell for Durant. Kevin will just have to find a way to man up and be more aggressive and make him pay by getting him in foul trouble. Go at him. Hard to do when you're being double and triple team but if I'm Nash, I use my pea sized brain and figure a way to do this. Have to go at Tatum and get him in foul trouble. Their only chance. Make them switch and keep coming at Tatum right from the start.
Meh. Let's go. I'm just hoping for an entertaining game.
