Try these on for size folks!! In no particular order except the first because no one is above Bob Marley. Not even close.
Robert Nesta Marley or just "BOB" is fine-every song, every album is a classic
Gregory Isaacs-almost the same can be said here, a legend
Don Carlos-lots and lots of great songs, check out "Bad Weed" or yeah pretty much any other
Buju Banton-dancehall master, the $hit back in high school
Yellowman-a legend also, pick up any CD and you'll be hooked
Eek-A-Mouse-a big muscular black guy with a very unique voice and flow
Capelton-I give him a kinda, some good songs for sure
Black Uhuru (this is a group)-too many good ones to name, "Spongi Reggae" & "Anthem" etc...
Steel Pulse (also a group)-"Rollerskates" and many more
Inner Circle (group)-"Black Roses" & "Gonna Make You Sweat" are 2 classics, and of course the famous TV show Cops theme song "Bad Boys"
UB40 (group)-pretty well known to all
& how can anyone not name me>>>BARRINGTON LEVY-Too Experienced is a great frickin album, saw him in SD a couple years ago and he rocked the house!!
Sean Paul-he is great for sure and the new breed, his red CD (forget the name) is a must-have
And there are lots of others that I just can't recall right now for some reason but I'll try and look and get back to ya'll. But seriously this is a great list as is and anyone on this list that you've never heard of or listened to before should be #1 priority next time you're at the music shop. You can thank me later.
And don't forget the smokes!! :smoker2: Chronic makes it that much better I promise!! Or so I've heard anyways. *lol*
