I burnt myself on the oven, I don't want a permanent mark, any advice?

I ran warm water over it and put on some Rx strength burn cream on it right after it happened. It has been a few days and the swelling/ blistering has gone down, but now I am afraid I will have a huge baseball sized mark on my arm forever, from where my skin is discolored.

I heard stretch-mark cream might help help take away the discoloration, but I wanted to know if anyone has tried this before...

u are in the wrong thread my friend!! sounds like u have a "hockey puck sized burn", the baseball thread is only for cuts, lacerations, and/or scrapes being at or around the size of a baseball. the hockey forum is for burns or blisters measuring approximately the size of a regulation size hockey puck. hope this info is helpful GL

aloe vera gel from the actually plant. Find a market or store that sells the stalks and cut it in half, rubb the gel onyour arm for 30 minutes or so and let the aloe go to work. I'v seen it heel many skin issues within 30 minutes, amazing to see it happen to yourself. I'M SERIOUS, look it up
