It was working fine when he won 22k but the thing messed up and cheated him when it won back 15k. His logic is since he played the same way he played when he won 22k he should have won 22k the next time as well.

How much were you tipping the dealer, that could be it too.

Just to be sure I just entered the casino (I almost never go into these online joints, no free drinks) and played craps for 30 minutes.

Well guess what boys? I started out winning but ended up a loser. So, evidentlty dogs24 is right! I thought they were on the up and up while I was winning, but now I know they cheat.

VVV

p.s. A nice sharp cheddar goes well with this whine.

dogs24, I believe everything you stated, and I also believe you are exactly right. I have done the same in the past, and had the same things happen. A few times I have won large amounts, and requested payouts, only to go back a few hours later, and the money still be in my account. So I call, ask why it wasnt deducted, and they state they "are getting around to it". So I did the same as you, go back and toy a little bit in the casino, and then all of a sudden you begin to lose 80% of the hands now. Keep in mind this has happened more than on one occasion, and I've played these things long enough online, I can definitely tell the difference. No doubt in my mind, they take a look at your playing pattern after you've won quite a bit of money, and then notice that it was in the casino, and they know you will be going back in there sooner or later, and then do what they have to do to get it back.

I think that statement was uncalled for Krackman, and I'll leave it at that before I say more than I should. I suppose your the ONLY one here who has never, ever let the competiveness of a true gambler backfire on you.

whether the sirbet casino is rigged or not, i do not know. what i do know is that i will never trust my hard earned dollars on some software that i may or may not be able to trust. gambling on sporting events that are on the up-and-up (as far as we know
icon_wink.gif
) and playing poker with friends where i know the deck is straight and no one is cheating is the only sure way i know of to get a straight game.

your right blue, can't agree more.I have to add that I have won some very good amounts in the past, but nobody will ever convince me just by "telling me", that these things are always random. I'm telling you , just as the guy did that created this thread, your can absolutely, positively, tell a difference in the game when something isnt right. It's hard to explain, of course to many of you that totally avoid online casino games, but those that do, and have played them quite a bit, know exactly what I'm talking about.

Hache- Yes I have in my earlier years but wouldn't have the nerve to come to the forum and complain about winning. You have been a poster here a long time and I respect your opinion but guys like him that have a few posts and come here and try and discredit a sportsbook that has a good track record just burns me up. You know what happens to these guys after a few posts? They disappear.

Like I said what would he say if he lost?

DOGS SAYS IN A FEW RECENT POSTS...

"Incidentally, I'm not a "big" player"

"I posted my question here the other nite about Sirbet's reliability because I had a decent few days...using a "system" that has done me well for the past couple weeks, I turned a $625 deposit into around $2,000+ in two days. But, as has happened umpteen times in my past, I got greedy, deviated from the "system", started throwing big money around like it was water...and in one day, dropped down to $450 real fast"

Ain't gambling a bitch?

YES, GAMBLING IS A BITCH BUT THE PROBLEM IS THIS IS ALL YOU DO IS BITCH? DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT ANY SPORTSBOOKS?

AND IF YOU ARE "NOT A BIG PLAYER" LIKE YOU SAY HOW CAN YOU GET UP TO THAT HIGH OF A BALANCE AND NOT CASH OUT? WESTERN UNION,CHECK,OR BANK WIRE?

I do understand your point here Krack, it's just at the time I saw your satement, I thought it was somewhat "harsh", I suppose only because I could see where the guy was coming from with his story, as do most that has played these things before. But, once again, as I said, I do see your point as well.

Thank of you to those of you who have posted, even those of you who have senselessly and mercilessly flamed me.

As Blue said so eloquently, for a group of gamblers to sit here and chastise me for not doing the sensible thing and cashing out when I was up as high as I was is sanctimonious BS. I don't believe that a SINGLE one of you has never been guilty of trying to push your luck a little too far when the going was good, and ended up crashing and burning as a result. It's the nature of the beast of being a gambler.

And that's precisely my point in posting this whole saga. Casino operators and bookmakers are well aware of the psychology of gamblers; they're businesses survive and thrive on it. Do I know for an absolute certainty that Sirbet cheated me? No. Can I prove it definitively? No. All I do know is that the change in "luck" was sudden and extreme following a withdrawal, and they have a TREMENDOUS amount of incentive to cheat. Couple that with an almost non-existent chance of ever being caught, because their software is monitored by nobody but themselves (and even fellow gamblers are more willing to chalk up such a story to sour grapes than a legitimate gripe), and I think you have very good circumstantial evidence to suggest that there might be foul play involved.

I don't expect to receive a dime. I emailed Sirbet, and not surprisingly, they sent me a stock form letter that said absolutely nothing of substance. When I wrote again (and believe me, I do not write inflammatory or nasty emails...very businesslike and professional, which I'd be happy to share with anyone who'd like to read it) , they didn't bother responding. A professional business, sure of the integrity of its software, would have nothing to hide and would not conduct themselves this way.

Do I expect to recover a dime, or ever prove that they cheated? No. But at the very least, I can warn my fellow players, even those of you who have responded to me belligerently, to stay away from Sirbet...and probably any other casino that they've had a modicum of success with.

It happens.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me at WSEX. At one point, I worked a dime into a $29,500 profit solely through BJ (at a $500 maximum). Like an idiot, I walked away with CONSIDERABLY less.

I don't remember exactly, but I think I chased it down to about $13K, where I lost another $5k in sports before cashing out.

I felt something was up when I was winning and again when I was losing. I haven't played online since.

This shit sounds all too familiar. Casino software is rigged everywhere. You got greedy then you paid the price. After they saw all you won when you asked for your payouts they made sure they got it back. You should have quit while you were ahead. Let this be a lesson to you and others that you should not trust casinos on the net period. If memory serves me right a bookmaker once came in this very forum claiming that the settings were wrong when someone won lots of cash from him. Thats all I needed to hear. The rest is history.

Complete bullshit. You got eaten up by odds which represent probability.

I have access to a stat sheet at sirbet and have reviewed the stats. The numbers represent fair casino play and an avg hold.

Quit bellyaching about losing your loot you degenerate. It sucks to lose, but to bitch and moan after the odds beat you is lame.

Many people think online casinos are rigged because they lose fast. What they fail to realize is that when your sitting in a real land based casino your getting dealt a hand once every coupla few minutes. Online, the action moves fast and you can actually play 5-10 hands a minute! Of course it seems like your loot goes fast in an online casino, the very same odds eat you up at a quicker rate.

You called it right, you should of cashed out and not played your winnings.

Sorry to hear of your misfortunte, but you have nobody to blame but yourself. People need to take responsbility for their actions. Grrr

Note: There are surely online casinos that are rigged. Sirbet is not one of them.

Dogs - I hope I didn't sound harsh but I've heard this exact story over 50 times I bet. I'm not going to tell you if the casino is rigged or not, I don't know for a fact but I seriously doubt it. Why not? Because they don't have to cheat in order to win, over time they will get the people's money fair and square. I guarantee you every betting establishment in the world is "rigged" according to someone who lost there. So are horse races, NBA games, lottery, slot machines, football games, Jai Alai etc.... People need reasons for why they lost, if there was no cheating going on than it would be their fault. Not many people like to admit they had a hand in losing. Why should a person admit they messed up when you can blame someone else just as easily?

In your situation rigged casino or not you had every opportunity to win at this place. All you had to do was quit playing. Nothing against you sir but my sympathies are reserved for the poor saps who never get up a load like you were and afforded an opportunity to cash out. Especially in a so-called rigged casino. You continued on and eventually what happened is what will always happen, the side with the built in edge gets the money. Nothing against you Dogs but if you learn your lesson from playing in casinos you will have made more money tonight than you will ever realize. Stay out of them is my strong recommendation.

Yeah but in a random game, it does'nt matter what happened the hands before! Therefore, by him losing a huge percentage of his hands..(with probably unbelievable type losses like him getting 20's and 21's and still pushing and/or losing) it seems strange.

If you ever get up on an online casino cash out.... set a goal, cash out..log out and play another day.

Kev --

I'd be very interested to see your stat sheet, demonstrating that Sirbet's casino does not cheat.

Look people, I don't know how else I can say it or prove it to you, but this is not about bitching about sour grapes. Yeah, sure, I'm pissed that I was stupid and blew 2/3 of my profit, but I can live with my own errors -- and believe me, as a five-year gambler, I've made more than my share of mistakes, bad plays, overshooting my limits, playing too long etc. And I've lost a helluva lot more than $15K too. The difference is, if I lose money because I picked 8 straight losers in the NBA, I'm pissed at myself for being a bad capper, but I'm not angry at anyone else. When I go through a ridiculous streak as I did at Sirbet, I think my suspicion is justified.

For the record, the exact figures are as follows (just calculated):

First 610 hands (played over several days), profit of $19,643.50
Last 662 hands (played in one afternoon), loss of $13,774.

All hands played with perfect (to my knowledge) basic strategy and no counting, and with a house edge of approximately 0.98%.

Yes, I know anything is possible. Yes, I know that that with the rule of independent trials in effect (as Sirbet claims to "shuffle" every deck before each hand is dealt), it is just as possible to lose 500 straight hands as it is to win 500 straight, to split 500 hands, or any other permutation (not exactly, but you know what I mean.)

But no, I still don't believe that I was the victim of a round of 'bad luck'. There were just too many losses, suddenly, and in a row, at a time when Sirbet had great incentive and unmitigated ability to cheat. The shift was too great and too sudden to assume anything otherwise.

Again, if you have a stat sheet suggesting something else, I'd love to see it.
