1) 3rd and 24 w/ your opponent backed up into their endzone. What defense are you supposed to play? Do you bring the house and leave your DB's 1 on 1? To each their own but i agree w/ playing very soft quarters coverage.
2) For the guy saying Harper throws like a girl? Did you watch the game or just make a bad bet? Harper got off to a rough start then really starting throwing the ball well. IMO he will be drafted in the first 3 rounds purely on his arm strength and upside

I love the guys bitching about losing based on that 3rd and 24 play...it took a minor miracle for the Clemson backers to be looking good ever in the game...be happy you got to watch the entire game with some hope.. that isn't intended to be offensive to anyone who bet Clemson, but if you bet Clemson and think you deserved a cover you need to start paying attention.
And what did Wake Forest do to deserve that cover? Miss a couple FGs, got shut down twice inside Clemson's 10? The only thing they had going for them was playing defense and that late INT from Harper. Either way the game was complete crap. WF still can't score and Clemson looks like a mess.
Clemson actually has a ton of talent. Easily the most talented team in the ACC. I don't think any other ACC team compares to them right now. Too bad the talent never gets put to use. Wake Forest has a great coach and players that tend to execute perfectly and always play smart, solid football. Wake Forest is a team I love to bet on. Clemson will just drive you crazy.
You put Grobe on Clemson and they are in a BCS game this year, it's that simple.
As for Harper, the guy is actually very talented. He was in the talk before the year as a Heisman candidate. Good coaching would do him well.

I believe all of it. C'mon now, Clemson's mail delivery program is known to be among the best in the nation. Many new and exciting techniques were developed at Clemson including the doberman dash and the junk mail jettison. Many apply to get into this select program but very few actually make it. I have nothing but the highest respect for Newlywed, he cut the mustard and is now reaping his rewards.
What did they do other than move the ball much more consistently the entire game? True that their red zone (or more accurately inside the 10 yard line) play and kicking was very pathetic and nearly cost them the game...but personally I'll take the team moving the ball all game over the team getting blown up nearly every play.
Again, I'm not saying Clemson was a bad bet, but based on watching the game last night you can't possibly feel as if you were given a bad beat if you bet Clemson and paid any attention. Yeah giving up a first down on 3rd and 26 is inexcusable but like I said, they were lucky to even still be in the game, much less winning it at that point.
Anyway, it's irrelevant, game is over...moving on.
