I think you are missing the point because you aren't looking at the big picture. Even if you have a one night stand and the chick pays your dinner, your booze, the hotel, an entrance to a movie or whatever it is you might be ahead in the tally with her but overall if you put every other chick you've been with all together you are way behind as far as money invested. If you go out with this chick again you will probably give it all back in the next date unless your are really cheap and probably won't have a chance at a third encounter.

I just took a trip with my girl a couple of months ago and the difference between going with her and going by myself was about 2 dimes (airfare, hotel, food and shopping).
